Totally fine with this series reaching its end, leaving room for other series to start and continue going just makes sense as this world truly feels like you've completed your goal, which was getting back into minecraft and hitting 1000 days on hardcore. For me at least the rest of this series felt more like a sequel anyway. Huge respect to your decision just to call it here.

Skyes.. I fully support your decision on leaving your hardcore world... I have been watching this world grow from the first episode (before the 1,000 day movie) and you have accomplished a lot, more than many other players. Yes . . . it will be sad seeing this world go, but it is time for a change. I had a hardcore world (the one i was replicating the Auto Inator in) for around 700 days, on the 300 day marker i changed some .DAT files to make it survival and that helped me become more motivated. (my main point of this is when you get burnt out and less motivated of soemthing, try something new or change it). Looking forward to the new series!

Honestly I would not be mad if you copied this world and made it into another difficulty ( hard, medium, easy, whatever ) instead of hardcore. If it makes this series more motivating to you, that would be cool!! Personally it’s really awesome to see how this world mutates as you change and learn as a player. Also, 4 series is WAYY more than enough!!! Did you try the Passive Enderman Mod? You have to manually decide what Endermen are able to do, like griefing, teleporting, getting angry. I have the mod, because in my Survival world Endermen were griefing like ants digging literal holes in my base (I am in a pretty dramatic windswept biome). The spawn rate of them was out of control too. After installing the mod and setting the options for them, all of it stopped. They don't grief and they don't get angry. We're friends now.

Yes, I want & love both the On A Raft and One Block Skyblock series. Vault Hunters is fun too! Yeah, hardcore doesn't make sense for a world where you just build. Definitely need to use another block than white concrete. Otherwise all the buildings are going to be too similar. We need some variety! But I do like the design and I want to see the pyramid for the animals! Makes me really excited for the future series! I understand and I agree! Making a new world is so much easier than fixing an old world and you can customise it however you want!

I love this series, but if you arent happy than you should restart a new futuristic series! Also if you want an easier way to cover the swamp is just bone meal the grass into moss instead of adding carpet. Then you can water bucket all of the stuff that grows right off!

if you're bored of this world then you're absolutely allowed to let it go and start anew with a regular world, and we're all gonna support you with that! at the end of the day your happiness matters the most, and it's no good if you get burnt out from a world you're bored of.

I think for the swamp and dark oak area, you could use moss instead of grass so that the ground's colour is not soo dark and dull. Unless if you're not a fan of how easy it is for you to accidentally mine a moss block. For the fandom name, I like Clouds better than The Limit tbh. Skewers is amazing too lol

Maybe whenever you have an idea to build something but it just doesnt really make sense to make in some other series you can build it in your hardcore world? Treat it like a building series where you just build whatever you want with the added challenge of having to gather materials for the build. I don't know if this would be something you'd like but a big life saver for me when building are hammer mods and wand mods. Hammers let you break multiple blocks at a time and wands let you place multiple blocks at a time (you can choose the orientation) Also, personally I'm more interested in the content than the specific world (spectacular as it is!) so whatever you prefer is best. The content is best when the creator is content XP

23:56 I'm of the opinion that hardcore makes it a challenge for youtuber. If you die though, it shouldn't mean the world gets lost. All this time you've been playing, it's no longer a challenge series... It's a building series. You did all the challenges. You're in the end game at this point. When/if you die, continue playing on for the fans. Just build a gravestone for yourself. But otherwise, don't give up the build.

I agree, for the most part. I really, really love this hardcore world, I've been watching since like 500 days, but on the other hand, Skye's best work is the series that he loves the most.

personally, i wouldnt mind seeing this hardcore world end. theres much more freedom when you dont have to be constantly worrying if youre going to die and lose all your progress because of it. but that being said, i much rather the idea of you sticking to four or so series because for me i tend to get bored of them if im waiting months for a new video but would stay excited and engaged if there was a new video each week/every other week of the same series.

Those four yessss!!!! Would also love one offs like the purge you did with full immersion

to be honest, i first started watching this series because it was hardcore. i like the premise of it, and i liked the builds you were doing. when you stopped posting this world i was pretty disappointed, but at that point i stayed for your personality and long vids to do hw with. i like your other stuff, but will be slightly disappointed that you stop doing hardcore. BUT. its more important that you enjoy what you do, because that is what makes your content entertaining. the rambling, the thinking out loud, that is why i watch your vids. so as long as you have, im willing to watch it! (im soooooooooooo happy you decided to come back to this world, even for a little bit!!)

I love these massive long running series and i perfer flatter worlds than hyper detail so this is my favorite series ever!

If you’re going to redo a futuristic series, you could base your aesthetic in cyberpunk vibes! This way you have a bigger number of materials to use, more colors and stuff, while still keeping the futuristic looks

But I think if those series are the ones that make YOU happy and YOU enjoy, then by all means do what makes u happy Skews, because I’ll watch whatever Minecraft u post. (Your my fav minecraft KZreadr but I do also watch your other stuff too) 8:49 rain only makes sounds when it hits something. Example it will make a sound on a plane’s cockpit window in the air just as it would on a car windshield that’s on the ground. This isn’t the cartoons where if something falls it makes a whistling noise 🤣. Also, it doesn’t make u stupid to ask, it just means you’re aware of the world around u and question the logic to become wiser. 23:25 why don’t u just change the world to be normal? That way u don’t lose all your hard work. I personally don’t care if it’s hardcore or not as long as u enjoy it. But I can’t speak for everyone else. 🤷‍♀️ so instead of it being “oh the normal one” on skyes 2 and the “hardcore one” on skyes, why not just change the hardcore to normal and they can be referred to as “the futuristic world” and “the Berserk world”? Lol 1:08:51 if u want to end it, it is your choice. Do what makes u happy. So I shall say so long to this hardcore world 🫡 and I look forward to the new future world

For future reference count the carpets on top of the lights between each point then times that by how many blocks there is between them and you have how many blocks there are. That would be easier than counting every single block.

You can use green carpet instead of moss carpet to hide the sea lantern in the swamp area for a better shade of green…

First- do what makes you happy. I personally like seeing two non-modded series one medieval and one futuristic, so would it make more sense to do one vanilla survival for main channel and one for second? Maybe! Either way I love this aesthetic in your builds in this world but I have really felt the difference in your enthusiasm for your second channel world. Your passion is what makes your content good Skyes and if this ain’t it for you then let it go we won’t be mad.

Have you considered packing up your stuff and just move to a location which suits you more?

TIP: U said that you use so many rockets to get around base. By combining 3 gunpowder and 1 paper you get firework rockets with flight duration 3 instead of the flight duration 1 u have now. Just wanted to write that tip in case you decide to read my comment. If 3 is to much you can also do it with 2.

It depends on what you think of as futuristic looking. Think the original Blade runner movie. It was far from white in color. It was actually very dark with neon contrasts.

there is a simple and easy way to automate smelting in vanilla mc: three chests, three hoppers and any furnace type. put the hoppers on the top and either left or right side and coming out from the bottom, top hopper is for the item that will be smelted, side input is for any fuel type and bottom output is well the output just hope you can see this and pin or whatever basicly like a auto-smelter but small amd compact without all the redstone, minecarts and other stuff for the huge version

I fully support your decision and when you do decide to make the new world, I think it would be cool to have a mini city, of farms, animal pens, stations, and just a city of skyscrapers just, kinda living in the future (not in like the japan sense, but like, long long future.)

You should get a texture pack tbat improves the swamp grass, you forget you have it on after a while but it is such an improvement Also, the reason you are getting bored is you havent changed up your playstyle. You build stuff and grind out for hours. You should try some complicated redstone, build in an entirely new style, such as new shapes, new colour pallets. Try collecting the rarest mobs. Make some noteblock music. You just gotta change up what you are doing. Also, demolishing everything and terraforming is incredibly demoralising, it'll pass

Speaking for myself here ( and prob others ) I think if your over this world it’s okay , I know for myself I love you anyways your videos are always so calming I always watch them when I’m laying down and going to sleep or if I’m building in my own world . I would recommend you i that, if you like those sci-fi distopian worlds, you could make differents megabuildings acording to those universos, in different bioms in Minecraft. I.E.: for Dune, you could go to a dessert and make a mega building there. Lets say riddik, you could go to an ice biom. And so and so.

I suggest giving a small tour if you start already made bases on day one?

I have a note that you might want to listen. If you play just one series, it will cause you 2 problems that you are suffering from right now. First will be burnout as you would play on one world for a month. Other would be lack of enthusiasm. You would play one series, make progress and people would love it, but then after the month is over new episode of that series would take months before coming again . I hope my insight will help

I completely understand and support you stopping this world and I’m very excited for the new series. I think it would be really cool to keep your idea of the pyramid because it sounds really great and i loved the design of that tower. On the new series I also recommend not making all flat because that’s a bit boring at least for me and it doesn’t really have any depth to it. I’m sorry I’m a yapper too but anyway really excited for the new series and to see what happens. Also edit: you might not want to do this but if you ever want to just build and not have to worry about ressources and just relax and build whatever you want to build you can always play in creative mode. But that does take off all the things you have to do in survival and you might want to keep that.

You could get rid of the platfotms that the pillars are standing on and replace them with Sonar like rings which keep the pillars and the pyramid afloat.
