13:40 I... didn't know you could do that with boats. But I did learn about this in Pixelmon. There are 3 things to note here: 1. You can yeet through the border 2. You cannot break, interact with, or place, any blocks outside the border. 3. Going [too long ago i don't remember the specifics. Might be 3-5?] blocks outside the border suffocates you. This is great for secret doors only you can access, trolling your friends, getting banned off a ton of servers for using an exploit, skits, etc. Works best on servers with a /home command. 13:49 *except for liquids Apparently you're teaching me new things today lol 15:43 Have to ask how the sword keeps breaking so much Stop using it early and keep it to craft together with another low durability sword for +5% Durability

Hey Skyes, in the future, you can do anything that typically spawnproofs an area(with the exception of lighting) to prevent the farm from breaking. This includes making grass into path blocks, carpet, slabs, leaves, glass, etc. So you don't have to make a wool farm every time you want to spawn proof.

I love the idea of the thought process while building. I’m just starting to heavily get into building and it really helps hearing how others think.
7:49 So Wheat is one of the only crops in the game that doesn't actually need water/hydrated soil to grow by itself. As long as you plant it quick enough, you can grow a whole field without any water.
I love the thought process idea on day 55. I’m know that I’d definitely like to hear your process cuz I wanna be a better builder like you.
Its nice to have a minecraft youtuber talk through their process of building a house instead of just rapidly 3d printing one right before our eyes. Makes it more realistic and relatable.
Just found this channel and these videos but they are seriously my comfort and make me smile while I'm going through a hard time right now.. I really am so happy these exist and this youtube makes these ❤️

39:39 for me, personally, (also seen a couple comments with the same thing) I really like the talking thought process of building because it helps me get a better understanding of what to look for whenever I try to build so, for me at least, it's really nice to hear the thought process and like, not just some timelapse or something lmao
I think the live commentary while building is great, showing your thought process and how you could improve your build could inspire someone to take note.
I'd love to see you build a house using nothing but one type of wood and dirt... and I wanna see how well you can make it look.

i LOVE these movie length 100 days!!! the commentary is hilarious, i love your videos skyes!!!
Just so you know, you don't need a name tag to make an iron farm. Other ways to make zombies persistent is to get them to pick up an item/armor (not all zombies can do this, so it takes some trial and error to find one that can), use a dispenser to place armor on them, or leave them in a boat or minecart. This actually means the zombie villager was already persistent since it was holding a fence.
@PepijnPA
Жыл бұрын
So using a dispenser on them, to put armor on, makes them not despawn?
@Nova11435

Do you really think that? The (at least) first 5 days of this challange was completely staged. At 0:46-0-47 a sapling magically appeared in his inventory, there was even a small jumpcut trying to hide it. And his hunger bar didn't even move in the first 5 days?! In Hardcore Minecraft... The first 3 Days he had no food, so there is no way that this video is authentic.

@@Binx_3652 I watched that section of the video multiple times before commenting. On my pc, it was too small to notice, even watching it frame-by-frame. However, I watched it on my mobile, and here, I could actually see it drop. So yeah, I was wrong about that one. After writing my comment 3 days ago, I was curious if my hunger theory would held up. So I fired up MC 19.2, and started a new hardcore world. Dug 2 blocks down, and putting one on top of my head. And to my surprise, Steve survived to day 7, without taking any food points. But keep in mind, I was completely still during this. Skyes was mining right after he got wood tools. And mining burns through food points. So it is possible that the food portions of the video is authentic too, and I was wrong. But I shall do some testing on this, because I believe, that he would starve to death in Hardcore, mining without food. (I know he had an apple) And yeah I know how Minecraft works, played it 1/3 of my lifetime. Just not hardcore. I also like some of his videos, this one just straight up shouted to me, that it was staged. I couldn't see the sapling drop after multiple rewatches, so I assumed he was cheating. I was wrong in that. But I'm going to investigate the food thing. I might be wrong on that too, but I'm curious.
I love hearing your thought process! it makes it easier to get ideas for my own builds!
Skyes, for the futer you can give a mob an item to keep them from desponing.

Tip for infinite coal: craft a campfire, which requires 1 single piece of coal (or charcoal) to make, and then break it to get 2-3 charcoal and just keep repeating it It also does cost wood, but that is not finite. Coal IS finite. So don’t worry about if you’re using too much wood, just make sure you still have a sapling or another tree growing so you don’t actually get rid of all your wood
