Tragic to watch all this build without lubricants being used.

These guys don't have a clue what they are doing. I wonder if the engine is still running. The only think I can say about your comment is that if you think they know what they are doing, you have never built an engine.

Hello
This is epic. I'll eventually have to rebuild mine someday. I can wrench, but I've never opened up an engine. Well done sir.
This is literally a scarce skill, wish there were more people like you
Glad you put the exhaust cam in the right way up in the end…
Awesome video. Can't wait to hear this run again.
Spot on lads can't wait to see it running 👍

Awesome video guys….Keep up the good work..
Wow Zee that’s amazing
Inspiring! Time to start on my m10...
I love the care you took to put this together. To clean everything, and paint items whilst off. And you replaced all the sensible precautionary items. Top work, this car will be great 👍🏽 Please fit a carbon fibre rocker cover and air box, it would set the engine bay off nicely 🙏🏽
BIG JOB 👍 great rebuild 👍
Great work by the way therapeutic to watch 👍
Boys you’ve put out some sick videos but this is another level, love this 👌🏻

I"m Watching,,Hi Master! I like your job
The work input is great. But one of the best things about this video is the choice of music that accompanies it all. I'm here at 11:31 p.m. watching this, sitting outside to cool off from the heat inside the house. The moon is full and the music is smooth and chill and creates a nice balance of relaxation, nostalgia and automotive education. I hope you continue to make great musical selections to accompanies your future project videos. Great job Sir. You and your team did well.
First time here, love the wall art in the garage💯🔥
Welcome tô Brasil Mans....vocês são os originais 👏👏👏👏👏
good job.
Amazing video!!
Sweet upload that is
Top job fellers
Super!
Only thing I would have different is to have the block and head faces a very light skim to make sure they are perfect didn't see u use any oil on the bores before pistons were fitted or on the crank bearings
impressive lads😁🤘👌
Very nice 👍🏼
I've got a power stroke 6.0 on the stand now. Protip: 2 dudes ain't picking that block up! Sweet video.
I liked your work bro I appreciate you
Love this type of content lads can't wait for the next installment ..👌

respect bro!
Yes lads, come on
Que buen video loco saludos desde argentina
very nicee
When mounting valve stem seals, you should use a "condom" on the valve stem. Otherwise the recesses for keepers on the stem can damage the seal and cause premature wear. In this case, you pre-mounted seals and pushed the valve into them, which results with the same potential problem.
Skills
Team genius at work! It’s looking phenomenal chaps. I’m continually impressed by your skills. Props to the Scarlet Pimpernel of panel beating btw.

Hello
Wow 👍👍👍🌈
Im sure that block is aleusol, meaning alloy and silicone. And you cant just hone it like a normal block, as the silicone particles will just melt, and you run the risk of damage. But i may be wrong
@darylmorse

It's a cast iron block.

@@darylmorse Yes indeed it is, if it was the other material, then it would have required a specialist to hone the bores
It was surprisingly very entertaining to watch and music was spot on. You can voice over the parts you want to explain, it would make the video seamless.
How's the engine going to make noises like its about to turn into an instrumental 🤣
Salut et très belle vidéo 📹
The accents remind me of Jeremy Clarkson’s “I’ve got’n Evo” impression.
Excellent video boys please keep up the great work can’t wait for the next one please keep safe
If Rebuilding is possible, then it's better than buying new. Also from saving nature's point of view... Building a new electric car consumes lot of nature's resources compared to rebuilding a car which is much better. But companies market their product in such a way that it won't allow you look at alternative/ better options.
Top work lads! Keep it up! 🔝
I need to do this to an s55 that I have laying around
Вот бы на такой погонять
Not sure if you know the rods are cracked so each rod should be put with the same half I was taken off from. If that makes sense bro. If not they won’t seat properly.. google it if you don’t know what I’m talking about. But I’m sure you guys already know. And engine is looking fresh top work as always.

Each conrod joint is specific to where it goes so when we removed them we kept them together in order to avoid confusion.

They are numbered either way :) U can always find it
With what kind of stuff were you cleaning the rods and camshaft brackets?
Upgraded the rod bearings and bolts at the same time arp
Did you reuse the pistons? Put back in the same cylinder they came out of? How did you check the cylinders for wear? Enjoyed the video!
@darylmorse
2 жыл бұрын
They obviously didn't check the cylinders for wear. There is no way the rings will seal with the cylinders in this condition. The DIY hone cannot give a proper 45 degree crosshatch.

@@darylmorse also, they used scothsbright on the crank bearing caps 😳😳!!
Nice work guys, How much was the rebuild kit ?
Awsome video! But in rebuilding a engine goes a lot more i think? Like measuring tolerances etc. ?
На клапан одевается пластиковая трубка, чтоб не повредить колпачки прорезью под сухарь
1:00 What exactly is being done to the valves?
