Interesting, I appreciate you sharing this technique with us! As questioned by another comment: is this a temporary bond, or must it be removed with cutting tools? Is it durable for light trail riding or just therapeutic?

It's bond's very well to hoof if the application process is a good and thorough. It can certainly be used for light trail riding but bare in mind it will wear and the wear will vary depending on terrain speed etc

Would you consider a trip to the north east? I have a horse transitioning barefoot and I’m desperate for some support.

I’m very interested in learning more about this product. Would you share the information? Would you tell me about the removal? Does it happen on its own or do you need to use a chemical or physical remover?

I trimmed the hoof as you would normally with a pair of nippers and Hoof raps. Once set up the material is very similar to horn and will either wear away or you can trim it away.

Flexi sole looks interesting. Could it be used on a shod hoof as well?

Yes absolutely.... We have used the equilox and fibre cloth across the sole for alot of Racehorses with sole issues.
