It's not the triumph that's winning our hearts, but the journey and the heart. Humility to call a failure a failure and a loss a loss is very refreshing amongst the car channels on YT. Big kudos and a bigger man to admit defeat. Onto bigger things, Matt!

Love how he couldn’t walk away at the end without taking the Porsche out for a final attempt … and ended up a second slower … but for him it was all about enjoyed the experience… great attitude 👍👍

Mat, your content just keeps getting better! Easily my favorite channel these days. Did want to mention, though, since I haven't seen anyone else address it, the chassis dynos generally measure wheel horsepower. That number will tend to be 10-20% lower than bhp due to drivetrain losses.

I know this comment will be buried, but I recently stumbled on to Mat’s channel and I’m 100% hooked. I’m going back watching all and I must say that you Mat are the greatest thing around. The best entertainment around period. You are so humble and I enjoy the excitement you get in every video. I know you’ve blown up, but you will reach levels unthinkable as you are so down to earth and have a huge personality and heart. Cheers mate you deserve it all as HWBT 👌🏻

Hi Matt. I wanted to say a heartfelt Thank You for the videos and content you put out. I'm in Ontario Canada and watch your videos on a regular basis. There are a couple reasons I watch. Firstly you're absolutely hilarious and incredibly fun to watch. I love seeing the relationship you have with your Dad as well. The main reason I watch is due to severe depression and anxiety. I can only watch positive shows or videos and your videos are way up there. Your content gives me a much needed break from my own mind. I can sit back and just enjoy the time spent watching. Rusted exhaust bolts on a 1yr old car makes me feel a bit better. When I put the JCR titanium side silencer delete on my (2007) 997 GT3, I got nearly the whole job done, on axle stands, in my garage, with a mate helping, but there were about 3 bolts rusted solid. Ended up having to put it all back together and take it to my local, friendly MOT garage. They used some of those fancy induction heating coil tools to get the bolts undone. Was pretty impressive.

The Lambo was always going to be faster in those conditions as it has an inherent advantage by having 4wd, so in damp conditions it can put its power down more easily. However I think it would be interesting to do a re-race in dry conditions as I think it would be a lot closer!

The only youtuber with whom you can relate to, who fails tries again and again till he acheives it feels so good to watch these half hour long videos i get so immersed in these videos as im a part of your build standing right next to you. I mean great effort by the whole team from daddy mat to the videographer to mat himself they never fail to entertain us and teach us, fr ive never learned more about how transmissions work engines work than from these videos, i was a part of your channel from day one and i hope it continues. Also i was truly amazed by your drifting skills the amount of control you had with the vehicle not only you repair them and have knowledge about them you can also control them and thats very appreciated.i never write to any of you youtubers but you are different mat youre good❤

Dont think so, the lambo got better traction on every acceleration (from the line and also out of the corners) due to awd. Would be a different story in the dry as the Porsche is quicker in the corners.@@Zwiqes

Totally agree! Those wheels are gorgeous!! I don't know if they make powder coat in that colour, but I'd love to have some rims done like that. But powder coating less expensive rims is more our budget on our channel haha

Go back to that track on a dry day! Would probably be a closer race. Most of the time was lost right at the start. Performante is nasty tho, those things are so quick. I'm just happy to see you enjoying the GT3 either way.
