I watched when Brent dropped his vid first cuz he was at home to edit already. Love watching you guys together, two innovators taking a hammer that was innovative to start and bringing it back to better than it was. Karl's experience with teaching the hammers in LV, the hand-built Rolls fender in AU and the MakeItKustom hammer from shop scantlings really brought out the potential in Brent's farmer forging hammer, BamBam2. Some touch-up on the dies and the hammer works awesome. I'm sure Brent will love the way the 24-inch, JapHands Kustom planishing hammer takes over after the hammer and brings the finish to next level stuff.

Super fun seeing you two work again. I started following @halfasskustoms after coe, and all through the fire - sorry Brent - great seeing you two make art from scrap
Thank you Karl for helping Brent. He is a good hard working man and deserves all the love. You my friend are on another level and your talents showed on this visit with Brent. Thank you again
You fellows make a great team. Brent is so blessed to have so many friends who are willing to help out. Pablo didn't look to happy to have to share his ride.
You are the man Karl. Helping out a friend when they need it most shows what an awesome person you are. The improvements to the power hammer will benefit Brent for years to come. Thanks for everything that you’ve done to help out Brent & Esther as the rebuild from the fire.

It was always the plan to come out and visit the circumstances changed with the fire
This power hammer is a work of art. ''You guys are having too much fun, different styles getting stuff done.'' How about that, I wrote a poem."
I am sitting here in Perth, Western Australia watching this and Brent's video and appreciate what we in Australia call "mates helping mates." I really appreciate that you took the time and helped out a fellow rod builder and shaper, get back on his feet and working, following that tragic fire in his shed. It is something that is the backbone of Australians when they come to the aid of someone whom has or is, having a really bad time. That you were able to quickly grasp the fundamentals of Brent's home built, yet effective tooling and improve the die alignment and appreciate the effectiveness of a diff driven hammer, added again to my opinion of "men of metal". You proved beyond any doubt, that you don't need a zillion dollar piece of equipment to do good work and have fun doing just that. Onya cobber(s)

Karl.. Puck board.. Is..HDPE.. High density polyethylene or PEHD.. Polyethylene high-density.. Also used in plastic bottles.. Plastic lumber. Has a high heat tolerance 120C ..248F for short periods. Doesn't take to glue very well.. Best if plastic welded for joints.👍
Many kudos to you for helping Brent and Ester. Enjoy watching both of your channels. Laughing together makes things more better.....and you guys laugh alot.

So very cool of you to help out a friend in need. You can tell who your friends are when they step up to the plate like you did. KUDOS to you.
Karl, thanks for helping out Brent. I had a friend like this for 30 years. True friends are hard to find. I'm seeing folks in Australia on here saying, " mates helping mates". I'm sure Brent is grateful you helped him out!!
Good friends helping friends great to see!
It was awesome that you were able to come help Brent and to do a quick metal shaping class with some of the guys around him. Shure wish I was able to come check it out in person

I sit and watch videos from you both doing this stuff and get the different perspective and just love it more. You and Brent compliment each other well and Ester's just sweet bubbly lovely personality just makes it better. Of course the puppers and going for a few boots were just icing
How impressive, such friends are rare Karl. In these tough times it’s rearly heartwarming, reassuring to see you working so well together recycling vehicles and tools with such success. Bam bam 2 is a considerable improvement. I like the steel cranium replacement cap!
a rusted burnt frame into a work of art ,, and you used the CAD system to cut the panels .. Great work
Super solid of you to fly out and be the hands and feet that helps!
DD Speed shop drive by even!
I do some blacksmithing and made myself a treadle hammer that swings a 16# sledge hard. I named it BB (Bam Bam) K'Whang. Great minds (and others) think alike. ☺
I gotta start watching these at home and logging into comment, I never miss an episode, but wouldn't know that from my history. Pumped for this one, thanks Karl, love the support shown by everybody for Brent!

I have the rear end from a 3/4 ton pick up. I now have a use for it. With a 3hp motor it should do whatever I need. Thankyou gents.
So good of you to help him out and gift him the planishing hammer.
Best make sure your torch tanks are full when Karl comes to town ha ha!! Great work guys! Nice to see Brent's shop coming back together.
Twin brothers from different mothers. Make it Halfass Kustom
I broke a window in a 62 Chevy back in the eighties, doing it wrong, and paid a little old Italian man to redo it with new glass, and he did it all by his lonesome in about five minutes to complete success. I sold that truck about thirty years ago, wish I never had. I've also done a 62 GMC, and sold that truck too. The guys who bought them are still owning and happy.
Karl you are a GREAT HUMAN BEING 👍😊
Again thanks for the photos at the Rosehill show. Glad you made it to Brents and gave him a hand. Good bunch of blokes
Glad to see you guys back working and hanging out together again. That crack ''Like a farmer '' is good thing , Brent is the ultimate scrounger making honey out of dog s--t. Thanks for helping out . The top 2 channels in Canada.
One of the local metals myths here in Idaho made a complete car with the tools you show. Another great video! Thanks Carl!!!
Brent, I would really like to see you loading the dog into the truck or car a few times. I had a big dog that would kill to go for a ride, and I remember what fun it was to load her into the truck.
Good for you Karl 👍 helping your buddy Brent tune up the hammer 🍺🍺
Precision sledgehammer work 👌
That was nice going to Brent's and helping him out. I thought that was around the corner but when you gotta take a plane that really counts.👍
Thanks for sharing Karl -Spanky

Its always great to see a community come together to help each other out, keep up the great work. I look forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
We all need to have mates around. What you're getting on with, helping Brent out. It is the people in life that make it great to start with and in the closing decades. Those times when it's harder to attract the interest of others. As in childhood, with no particular skills yet. And we get older the young blokes are too confident and different to waste much time with us old ba*ta%d$. Yeah that's when you need mates around. Like you boyo!
And yeah,ya just got to ❤ 🎶
I'm watching you now because of your generosity...THANK YOU!
That tail section the diff came from, would make a kool rat rod pickup bed
Back in the 60s my uncle used that same differential system to make a PTO driven differential to form a Pulp wood trucks winch to pull and load pulp wood onto a truck back in Louisiana. He was somewhat an engineer after WWII. He used the E brake as the controller for the winch portion like you were thinking...
Glad to see that dude smiling again
Thanks Karl for coming to help Brent. It's great to see friends giving a hand when misfortune strikes. Watched this on Brent's channel and now rewatching on yours. Views, likes, and comments all around. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
That's what's wrong with this world people don't help out like we do and you do so many people are just stuffed inside and to afraid to land a hand I was raised at your hand and help somebody just like you were excellent job

Sweet pack job on the tools
Glad to see you guys using a Coors box for a template rather than a Bud Light box. If you had used the Bud Light Box you would have had to wear a dress when using this power hammer!!
Couldn't believe the way you all got sage out of Brent coupe learned a lot
