I love your vids m8, keep up the good work
Very good video.. learned a few things cheers
Great video. Very to the point and entertaining. I've done most all auto work except opening up a engine. Watching you do it gives me an idea what I would encounter.
nice
Brilliant!

Do you know what work your engine requires? I've just assembled another Saab engine, a B234 ready for slotting into my Uaz 4x4 van 😁
I know when i built my track car i removed the very fine gauze from the pickup pipe and replaced it with coarser gauze, i would much rather dirty oil get to my bearings than no oil. Also the pickup pipe was so close to the sump floor that build debris like rtv etc managed to build up around the very tight gap and restrict oil to the pickup pipe, culminating in a big end bearing spinning and wrecking the crank. Since doing these mods it appears to have been fine since. 👍🏼

For my Scimitar and Commer I run a larger gauze. Actually the Commer is a tea strainer with larger holes poked in it 😆 The Scimitar is a pipe with 4 ish MM holes drilled in it. The 900 has a larger strainer so I decided it's acceptable 😁
I guess if the plunger on the pressure release valve is scored you won't have to check if it's moving... probably moves quite a lot if it's scratched.

I meant more as time has gone on and these engines aren't as fresh as they used to be.
Зачем тебе уаз? 🤦 Попробуй на горячем моторе масляный радиатор. Скорей всего он будет холодный. Открывай термостат на постоянно. Масло - w50/60. За стартером есть заглушка. Установи туда датчик давления масла со стрелкой.
I fast forwarded through the PRV bit. There I said it.
