Thanks for showing the process. ! To many programs feature interesting engine or modded swops but leave out how they did it , slammed land rover one of them , no details what so ever , just close ups of faces , talking , showing off , sell, the very people who are interested in such projects want to know how , ta great project !

Thanks Steve. I totally agree, I want to know the nitty gritty details, I want to learn simple stuff like how do you make a template when you can't even see the part you need to measure! I'm a big fan of Grind Hard Plumbing & The Skid Factory for that reason!

I saw that your license plate on the 9000 CD started with P640. You might already know this but the Saab internal project number for the successor of the 9000, the -97 9-5 was P640. P641 was the station wagon.

After watching a few of your vids i want one. i have seen a few with toyota axles lexus engine and have my little hart set on one.

Great to see this project coming along and your fabrication skills. But, I can't help but think that the Land rover was short changed a bit as it never received Saab power.

Saab swapping the Land Rover seemed like sacrilege, they are a British protected characteristic. Where as none of my other stuff is worth keeping standard 😆

@@LivingMyBoostLife haha. Well, you might have something there - you've turned a car that my D+T teacher used to have, and it used to irk me - Reliant Scimitar (his was a 6 pot) into something i've found myself wanting haha

Next time, put the Mount on the pillar drill and get it to rotate slowly - Rowena can then shine a torch on it so it looks all fancy.

What transmissions bolt up to the Saab 2.3 engines ? I didn't watch the Scimitar videos yet. I, like you also have a SAAB problem. Keep recording please. I love it !!!

A Saab problem is a real problem 😃 Are you in the UK? Because only Vauxhall gearboxes bolt up to the Saab engine. Various FWD boxes which I don't have any experience with them Frontera 4x4 and Omega RWD

Hi, Your video is priceless for me :) I have Uaz 452D which is small truck. I have bought Opel C24ne engine and Frontera gearbox. Biggest issue for me is gearbox shifting, how to You solve it? Best regards!

Inlet manifold? The only 2 bolt on options without going for full custom manifolds are the 900/93 and 9000 manifold. The 9000 one fits well now
