    Greetings Gus, you have made another fantastic video. I think those new pads are little more softer than old ones and that is also why the old ones lasted so long. I think these new ones will live little shorter. I also agree that Rebel has weak brakes. At least when I compare It with my Vulcan S….. These new pads will solve the problem😉👍. Thanks for your efford and for your new video. I wish you a looooot of miles with those new pads😁👍

    Hey Gus, great video. Questions... 1 why do you ride with your high beams on during the day? 2 what is the device below your display? It has blue, green, and red lights. Thanks

  • @ontherebel11

    @ontherebel11

    10 ай бұрын

    Hi Andrew!! Riding with the high beams on in the day time is a must IMO, it makes the bike more visible to cars, being visible is a big part of being safe. The controller is for my dashcam, it is called Vantrue F1, i have a video about it if you are interested.

    Hi There! I would recommend the metzeler cruisetec tires and for brakes i would recommend either the ones in this video EBC EPFA 700 HH for added stopping power, or EBC FA 700 HH they are similar to the stock pads but much cheaper, mine lasted 19,000 miles!

    If the pads "bite" that hard, how much more does it wear the rotor? Are you going to replace the rotor at 40kmiles?

  • @ontherebel11

    @ontherebel11

    10 ай бұрын

    Hi James, i predict that they will wear out the rotor faster than the OEM, but it is a non issue for me, a small price to pay for the added stopping power, safety is priceless.

    Hi Julio!!! Thank you for asking this great question!!! I did a poor job addressing this in the video.... These are only available for the front pads.... But, the EBC HH are an improvement on the rear brakes from OEM pads for sure. But the front EBC HH pads were the same as Front OEM Pads. The best brake pads available for the rebel are EBC HH for the rear and EBC EPFA for the front.

    Hi Anthony, even though it says that they are for the rear, a friend installed them today on the front, they worked perfectly. just as long as the model numbers match up. i did a search and can't find them anywhere else, grad a set before they sell out. i bought mine from dennis kirk but they don't have them anymore....

    Can you write us please fuel consumption in city and in highways ?

  • @ontherebel11

    @ontherebel11

    9 ай бұрын

    Hi There, there are many factors that will affect the average consumption. I took a 3,000 mile trip back in Feb and the result was an average of 37.2 MPG. Mind you the bike was fully loaded for touring and i was riding on the interstate at 80 mph. here is a link to the section i go over fuel consumption: kzread.info/dash/bejne/l2WExZSSccXJcrg.htmlsi=7rJDAnbUyEp47D-n&t=1005

  • @Rider_on_Indian

    @Rider_on_Indian

    Thanks, so the consumption is so so...i expected better numbers for a light bike....around 5,5 liters would be ideal..especially at highway.

  • @ontherebel11

    @ontherebel11

    9 ай бұрын

    @@Rider_on_Indian if you are going 60 mph the fuel consumption is excellent! But in my case, I had bags and a large screen and I needed to cover many miles each day to make it to Texas and back so I had to take the interstate.... When you ride at 80 mph the consumption dramatically increases. Reasonably, you could get 50 mpg if you ride at 60 mph and are not an aggressive rider.
