Rebecca Hall on the ‘Outlandish’ Premise of

Ойын-сауық

"I don't really know how you're going to pull this off," Rebecca Hall remembers asking RESURRECTION director Andrew Semans when she first met with him about appearing in the horror thriller.
Eventually, he convinced her he could: Hall stars with Tim Roth star in the new film. She plays a woman trying to protect herself and her daughter from a very creepy mystery man from her distant past, played by Roth.
Hall and Roth's characters share a secret that the film's director calls "outlandish." We won't spoil it, but we do ask Hall how she sells the idea onscreen.
We also talk a bit about her writing and directing debut, last year's PASSING.

That monologue is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. I loved the ending as I haven't seen 2 ppl interpret it the same way.

I've just watched Ressurection and she has become my new favorite actor. It was like watching The Shinning all over again. She would have been Kubrick's favorite performer.

Great interview! I just saw the film this afternoon, and Rebecca's insights helped me appreciate it more deeply. It's wonderful to experience her brilliance as an actor on screen and her intelligence as a creator behind the scenes on the very same day

Rebecca Hall, “born in a trunk” to performing patents and is such a powerhouse herself. I hope she wins an Oscar for acting, writing, directing, or all of the above!!!

Does the ending of this film means the release of inner child from the influence of Narcissus?

I am completely confused. You have 791 subscribers at the time I watch this (Nov 2023) and this was shot a year ago... how on Earth did you land an interview with Rebecca Hall? You have a very confident interview style, great questions, insights and conversation. You must have an extensive background that I'm unaware of beyond this channel... again... just confused... pleasantly.

anyone else thought the monologue scene would've benefited from not having any music behind it? anyways, rebecca hall is a fucking beast. absolutely loved the movie and can't get it out of my head.
