I love that they did the interviews together. So hilarious. 😂
Not sure if you guys have seen Miles Teller argument about the academy ignoring what Tom Cruise does in preparation for his films but embraces an actor getting tons of make up and changing his persona. He truly becomes Ethan Hunt for these films, just as he became Maverick for Top Gun. A true artist.

Great point, method acting taken to the nth degree.

The fact that Tom's movies aren't winning the top awards in Hollywood reminds us all that people only see what they want. Shame on the academy for not recognizing the cast and crew of Tom's movies. Glad I'm a fan who always goes to the movies to support Tom.

The furthest they got was nominating Top Gun 2 I believe.

They don’t need awards to prove they are good movies. The audiences know and acknowledge their effort and that’s enough I believe

All, in regards to acting, Tom and cast members should be recognized for their talents by the different award shows. As fans, we are going to continue to support but when the award shows don't recognize consistently impressive talent it is clear there's a terrible bias in Hollywood and among the boards on the award shows.

There must be a nomination for stuntmen in Academy, yes. But apart from technical nominations, i cannot fathom any award nominations for MI. Except Phillip Seymour Hoffman in MI 3 and perhaps, Brad Bird in MI 4 for directing.

very nice commet. its realy well :)
I agree on that there should be an award given out regarding movie stunts.
I liked what Hayley said in another Interview about Tom doesnt cast an actor for a role, They PICK the actor or actress they want to work with and THEN flesh out who exactly the character is.
Love the dynamic between Rebecca and Simon - and the interviewer's accent! yes, very important things
The reason why there might not be an Oscar for stunts is that how can we be sure that the stunts were safe? Some director could go for the craziest stunt ever and people could get injured or killed trying to pull off the stunt. Where does the line get drawn between impressive stunt and too dangerous?
Rebecca!!! What a gorgeous woman!! Can't wait to see it! Wednesday can't come soon enough.. :-)
So true. Tom cruise does not have a stunt double

Mission Impossible was supposed to be so quiet, so unknown, so benign, that no one could know about it. Now, it's James Bond-type stuff. I'm torn on that, but you can't argue with success.

allow me to point out, a stunt double was used in the "oblivion" when tech 51 fights tech 49.
1:26 That's Google Pixel 6 for you
We got two actors from this new movie and an opportunity to ask them questions about their experience in this movie and careers. What should ask them about, oh ask them about Tom Cruise for the whole interview? You got it. 😂
The best movie stunt remains (NOT my opinion, but I agree) the opening sequence where Pierce Brosnan’s stunt double does a BASE jump off a hydroelectric dam at the beginning of James Bond “GoldenEye.” Just incredible and beautiful.
The Entity is actually taking over the world!!!
I think if Oscar awards for stunt men/ women, it might cause life. Its a liability
John wick vs Mission impossible stunts for stunts should warrant a oscar award especially 4 vs 7 respectively
Simon hates AI in every interview they bring the subject haha (he's right though, but funny to see it)
Ohhh Rebecca........damn! Simon - so glad you didn't have blonde hair in the movie (lol)

Becca gives me the impression she's the kind of woman you don't want to tick off. I bet she's given a few verbal down dressings in her career. Imagine if she played McGonagall in HBO's Harry Potter
big deal...Steven Seagal does his own stunts...while sitting down. But let's not get overboard..yes, Tom does most Stunts BUT the real stunt men that get crumbled in cars and set on fire and choreograph the craziest of stunts do have an achievement award...like Dar Williams and Hal Needham.

@@NikhilTanna15 Yeah when they use stunt doubles they can't show the actors face as much so the scenes look better when it's the actor. People aren't as willing to go to the movies now with streaming so actors are going to need to step up their game
The reason Toms movies dont win awards is do to the fact the refuse to do woke garbage. H stays true to a real movie. Tom is number one on my list, will always be.
Simon pegg is kind of a hipster now.
