    Here in the Philippines, i'm not aware of any traditional church which offer any traditional sacrament nor traditional mass. I am quite distressed by this since I have learned things from WCB and other traditionalists about the modernist church. I have learned things from this episode which help alleviate my concerns. I hope to find more guidance regarding our situation here. God bless and keep WCB.

Tried that, thought I'd try to be some kind of example with veil etc..., I saw a teenage girl go up for communion with Airpods in her ear and another with spaghetti strap shirt. I'm the worst sinner I know so not trying to sound like I'm holier than anyone else, just couldn't do it anymore. I'm weak and need a strong discipline faith. Does the SSPV not recognize the validity of Novus Ordo baptisms? When I visited a SSPV chapel there was a sign in the vestibule saying you had to be baptized in the old rite in order to receive communion there. Does the SSPV view baptism in a similar way that the Eastern "Orthodox" does? That is, a sacrament of reception into your church rather than a sacrament for the cleansing of the soul. I was baptized in the Novus Ordo rite by a validly ordained priest and have since left the Novus Ordo and reject the Vatican II errors, but according to the sign at that SSPV chapel I am not allowed to receive communion. Edit: To be clear let me ask this. As a man who was baptized in the Novus Ordo, but have not attended a NO mass in years, and only receive the traditional rite of sacraments now and am living my faith and in a state of grace, but have not been conditionally baptized by a SSPV priest, would I be allowed to receive communion at a SSPV church?

  • @dasan9178

    @dasan9178

    6 ай бұрын

    Conditional baptism is used when the validity of your original baptism is unknown. It’s for the sake of your soul. Frankly, I envy you a bit. My own baptism was a VERY minimalist one in the Baptist church. Though I’m not certain at all of its validity, everyone else seems to think it’s fine despite not knowing anything regarding how it was done. The Novus Ordo new-church accepted it no questions asked…and so did the SSPX. It’s been been such a source of a lot of stress and concern for me that I think conditional baptism would be a tremendous grace that I’d be extremely grateful to have. It doesn’t hurt at all either that if my first baptism were invalid, all my sins would be wiped away! PS. Regarding your Novus Ordo baptism, the rite they use is deficient (that’s a fact), and they often take liberties with it that cause it to be invalid. It’s easier to be conditionally baptized than worry (like me) that you MIGHT not be validly baptized at all! Besides, conditional baptism harms nothing if your first one was valid. Imagine, however, all the sins of your life being instantly gone! And what that means for future confessions and your continued efforts toward holiness! It’s why I envy you a bit.

    @@dasan9178 Scrupulosity is a danger as well. Ponder the poor souls who have committed so many sacrileges getting “rebaptized” over and over because of how concerned they were. Each one past the first was an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. I’m not sure about you, but that’s not a risk I’m willing to take. The Novus Ordo baptism is valid, NO mass, NO confession, NO ordination, etc. The only rite to have substantially changed was the consecration of bishops and even that has a solid argument to validity. If you can’t feel the grace in your own soul with non-pre-55 sacraments, the rite isn’t the issue, your disposition is.

    I accept the concepts of baptism of blood and desire but under certain circumstances. Meaning you can’t still be a member of a false religion including the false, heretical sects of Protestantism. So baptism of desire can apply to Catholic catechumens who haven’t been water baptized yet or invincibly ignorant people who don’t know about the Catholic Church and all the other false sects of Christianity. That person then would still have to hear the gospel, have faith/hope/love for Christ, repudiate any false religion they may be or have been apart of, and not positively reject the Catholic Church nor express communion with a heretical Christian sect. Similar circumstance for baptism of blood. I don’t believe a Protestant who says he’s giving up his life for Christ or I think there were Egyptian Copts who were apparently killed for their faith by ISIS…. I don’t believe the Protestant would be a martyr nor were the Copts and these instances wouldn’t be valid baptisms of blood. His or their heretical beliefs would preclude the sanctifying grace of baptism which in this case would be blood. Similar to how anyone can receive a valid baptism from anyone but the sanctifying grace doesn’t kick in until they repudiate their heretical beliefs and join or accept the Catholic Church. But again you can’t actively proclaim communion with an erroneous religion. That’s completely illogical and opens the doors to salvation in any religion.

    Jesus refuses us not; therefore, we should refuse him not. Our Lord Jesus Christ left us the gift of life before he died an ignominious death on the cross and that was his own body and blood. The Sacrifice of the Holy Mass is therefore to receive the body and blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Never should a Catholic refuse the body and blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ when approaching our Lord during Holy Communion. If you live next to a Traditional Catholic Church that offers the Traditional Latin Mass every day and if you have access to a priest on a daily basis, then in my humble opinion, I would take advantage of these graces and blessings poured upon you. Millions of Catholics around the world and I'm including myself, live a life of annihilation and darkness because we have no traditional priest, we have no church, we have no Traditional Latin Mass, our children don't have the sacraments, we have nothing. We live in darkness and desperation, hoping and praying that Our Blessed Mother and Our Lord Jesus Christ will bring back the light into our lives into our State and or Country. I can't put into words how I long to be part of a Catholic Parish in which I can go to confession every week and attend Holy Mass, every day if possible. I desire more than anything to receive my Lord in Holy Communion every day. It saddens me to see Our Lord Jesus Christ being refused during Holy Communion. All I want is to receive our Lord in my heart and keep him there. Jesus refuses me not; I refuse him not. God Bless!

    In the discussion on the fewness of the saved (started at 23:04) following the precepts of the Catholic Church is raised. Catholics must believe all the dogmas of the church. Yet you presenting your self as a Catholic priest fail on one of the primary dogmas: that the visible church and its sacraments can not exist unless there is a true Pope living and ruling in Rome. You pointed out that the Vatican II church is a different faith. So how can Traditionalists justify having sacraments without a Pope to provide the jurisdiction to the Bishops of the world who then ordain priests? They can't. Most Traditionalists know that this is the great apostasy and for that to exist means this is the Age of the Antichrist. False popes were always considered antichrists in many holy encyclicals given by True Popes throughout the history of the Catholic Church. The remaining Catholics in the world are those who follow all the dogmas of the church set down until the end of the reign of Pius XII. The Catholics in Japan for 200 years knew how to keep the faith in the absence of priests, bishops and the sacraments. Speak on that part of history and you will lead yourself to an understanding of how Catholics must live while waiting for Christ's second coming, or their own personal judgement.

    Refusal to submit to the teaching, governing and sanctifying authority of the pope always results in complete separation from the Church. No matter how much you may claim to pray for the Pope or follow Tradition, you are a schismatic. The graces given to us do not derive from the Traditional rite of the Mass, but through Peter alone and those who are in full communion with Peter. Only then are the Sacraments valid, through Peter, not outside Peter, because all priests and bishops receive their faculties for the Sacraments from communion with Peter. Your claim to extraordinary necessity is null and void because you can never oppose Church authority even in seemingly grave matters. The Church is tied to the office of the papacy and both are indefectibile and protected from spreading serious error to the faith, by divine guarantee. Therefore It’s not the Traditional rite of the Mass which we are bound to follow, but Peter. You are no better than Protestants or Orthodox who reject the office of the papacy (even if only since Vatican Two). Protestants believe in Sola Scriptura and you believe in Sola Tradition and Sola TLM, which ironically means you end up destroying the perennial Tradition of the Church, not upholding it. Please humble yourself before Our Lady, as I did when I was a traditionalist with the SSPX, and ask for guidance in this matter.

    Whatever confusion you are going through, I sincerely hope and pray you return to the traditional faith as it's the only way to save your soul. That being said, your argument is so easily debunked I'm not sure how you can even be serious in stating it. TLM DOES follow the teachings of Peter, and the authority of the papacy, which is not the Novus Ordo, nor anything the Novus Ordo does. The church carries on, regardless of someone sitting in the papal seat or not. There have been schisms in the past, there have been years of the Seat being vacant, yet the Church persists, as it is Christ's own institution. The TLM follows the teachings of the CHURCH, through matters of Scripture AND Tradition, and not the Novus Ordo church, which in itself is NOT Catholic, and is in fact trying to destroy Catholicism. Maybe if you would... humble yourself as you so put it, and listen to the word of God, and not the word of the father of lies, you could see this. I'm sorry you have fallen so far into the trap. Seems like you have a lot more of these episodes to watch and learn from

    To clarify more simply. Rome and Francis are not Catholic, they are not the Church that Christ instituted, and they themselves are not in communion with Peter. What's left? TLM. Pretty simple. The hierarchy of the church doesn't require all seats to be physically filled to exist. Also, the TLM goes much further than just offering the traditional mass, which you should know as someone who claims to have been in SSPX.

    The Conciliar Church is Anti-God and is a Cult of Man All religions - with the notable exception of the Catholic religion - are man-made. The Catholic Faith was established by God to give grace for the salvation of souls. This salvation is accomplished mainly through Our Lord’s Passion and Death, renewed in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Second Vatican Council’s conciliar church has an anti-God Cult-of-Man service which they deceptively call “the mass” but which gives no grace. Without grace, one loses the Faith. Webster’s Dictionary tells us a cult is a faddish devotion. It is the faddish devotion of man in the conciliar church service. Speaking for the council, at its close, Pope Paul VI addressed the “modern humanists” (an anti-God movement) and told them that “we too, in fact, we more than others, honor mankind.”

    In this case, Francis is clearly in schism with Christ. Whether he’s the pope or not, I can’t say for certain (though I doubt it). I can’t pray for his intentions, but I do sincerely pray for his soul…as we all should. Have no fear, however. God will preserve the Catholic Church through this time of affliction and restore her. How? When? I don’t know. I only know He can and will. In the meantime, be patient, especially with fellow Catholics, and PRAY! 🙏
