The only person to blame here is the guy You date a single woman with a kid...then inevitably she will have to meet the dad now and again...birthdays, religious events, anniversaries for grandparents etc... Yes it's not ideal, but that's what your getting into when dating single mum. She is 100% entitled to meet the ex, as in their child's dad, now and again once it's for a milestone event. If you don't want that suck it up, stop being insecure and move on

@@rogerward3390 I'm not advocating dating a single mom, but there's a HUGE difference between meeting up at a family event and going over to his place for dinner and a movie. That shit's fucked up. MOST of the time, she drops the kid off and goes back later to pick them up if it's scheduled visitation (which it should be).

@@vanessaloermans9563 "it's an honorable thing to be a stepdad, to raise someone else's kids...". No it's not. That's a vicious mind game, meant to trick weak men into crap relationships with single moms who have screwed up their lives, and are looking for a man to help them pay for it. It is honorable to stay with the father of your children though. It's honorable to get married and to have all your kids within that marriage. And it's extra honorable for both mom and dad to do a good job raising their own children. What most dishonorable, and dishonest, are women who make themselves single moms through bad decisions, and then try to trick good men into wasting their lives on them. These "women" get upset with everyone else when they find out their actions have repercussions, and one of those repercussions is good men of high value are taught to avoid them. Instead of rightly getting upset with themselves. But ma'am, don't ever try to tell us again what you wish was honorable for men to be doing, because you don't have a clue.

@@veroniquevesta7516 😄 google!? 🤦‍♀️ You have raised a law that's applied only in specific circumstances. If a man step parents a child from birth or near birth and the biological father is unknown/ unidentified or not alive - then yes that law is applied to not only continue the support of the child, but also the rights of that step parent. So in turn the step father would be given legal access and ongoing custody rights. However if the biological father is known and living - then no, step fathers are not legally ordered to pay child support - unless they fight for visitation rights and take matters further in court. Its a law that was created to protect the step parent relationship. This law must be in place in the event of parent dying and step parent having ongoing legal rights in that scenario. Its an extensive law but most definitely does NOT force step parents to pay child support in place of a biological parent after a relationship break up. I can assure you as a professional that mediates, counsels and acts as a court witness on behalf of fathers (male advocacy rep) I know how it works.

Two stories: A friend of mine moved in with a woman with three sons. Two were in their early teens, while the youngest was a toddler. Everything was bacon and cheese the first few months. He has a great job, and he was supporting them with his paycheck. He even funded a vacation with his quarterly bonus. She was all over him like flies on shit. Then he yelled at the teens for vandalizing the neighbor's property. The mom went after him screaming "How dare he? These are not your children. Pull this shit again and you're out" crap. He left. While she was at work, he moved all his gear to another friend's house. When she got home, he broke up with her. She tried to tell him he could only leave with what he could carry or she would call 5-Oh. She didn't realize it was already gone. The next story I heard second hand, but I have no reason to doubt it. A man worked tirelessly in his 20s and 30s to get the money for a house. In his 40s, he bought and paid for it completely. Then he married a single mother. She gave him enough mooly-mooly to keep him comfortable in the marriage for 10 years until she could eviscerate him in the divorce she instigated. The judge awarded her child support, half of his retirement and future earnings, and his house. Don't live with or marry single mothers, gents.

My friend lived with a single mom and her 2 daughters. He'd spend 8 weeks working abroad and 2 weeks back home, splitting time between his son and the single mom and her 2 girls. Dude works SEVEN DAYS A WEEK breaking his back doing heavy physical labour for 8 weeks. Then 2 weeks back in the county Most of the money he'd save he'd spend on the single mom household. Fixing the house, holidays, groceries, gifts, everything. She was on welfare while he was making 5-7 times what would be a month salary back home. He eventually dumped her because she'd give him a hard time if he disciplined the daughters in any way (These are not your kids, he heard). 2 days after he dumped her she was crying tears that she wants him back. She even said they should go to a psychologist!! The nerve. Stay away guys. You will never get the glory of being an actual father and you'll get all the misery of being a plough hourse. She thought that grass was greener on the other side and probably made her choice based on emotions she felt at that time, nothing to do with logic. It looks as though she got dumped, thus, trying to find out whether she can hook up with you once again to ensure that you still care about her, so she could get her validation back, or because, you either ignored her, or never got in touch with her after she left for that guy, or she just wants sex and will try to lure you with sex, because she maybe starved. If she wants validation and sex and you know you can handle it, then have fun just one last time, do it properly though, no talking, just action, make her feel it, get in her head and body 101%, treat her as if she was 304🤣 and obviously be extra careful at the same time😉. After you are done, walk away without saying anything, be brutally cold as if you have turned yourself into Alaska🤣, and never, ever look back, because from that moment on, she is dead and buried, she is forgotten, distant past. if you do that, she will regret leaving you in the first place, and ironically, she will perceive you as a strong, masculine alfa male, who didn't give a damn about her. It's crazy as f...k, but this is the way it always works with such women. No regrets and no remorse my friend. Take care.

So I pleaded with the judge. not to avoid the child support, but to be given the rights to be the daughter legally recognized father. be awarded visitatiation and holidays rights. because I loved her. it was only the out burst of my ex and her father that saved me. the judge gave my ex a choice after that. get the child support and make me her daughters adoptive father with all the rights or to drop it. Yes , I have encouraged my brother not to date single moms, and he had one experience and that was enough. He told me the reason he would not date single moms is in quote “you will always have to deal with the another man.” Women if you are a single mom, the baggage you bring is that you are asking a man to commit to dealing with the guy (or guys) you picked before him as long as he (they) is/are alive.

Yup, their hypergamy is on another level. Single moms spin more plates then the best dudes out there especially if they are attractive. You are never a priority, the dog is more important than you, they are your kids when it can benefit her and they are her kids when it benefits her. They always have EX's on backup as well as hundreds of other dudes waiting in the distance to "save" her when you "screw up." FWBs at best otherwise run for the hills!

Rich is correct on the child support. Child support laws vary widely between jurisdictions. Based on the facts of your case, depending on the jurisdiction, if the child sees you as a “father figure” and the biological mother then dumps you or you decide the relationship is no longer serving you and you leave her, you could still be paying child support for that child (who is not yours, who you have no rights to visit, and have no rights to parent or make decisions about) until the child emancipates. Know the laws where you live BEFORE cohabitating, or living in a “married like state”, or adopting someone else’s child, or marrying a single mom. Stay safe out there!

Let me add that if you choose to date a single mom (against advice), then don't be resentful or a mean a-hole to the children. I had a former friend who hooked up with a single mom (with one 5 year old child). The father wasnt in the picture and had abandoned the mom. She was a sweet loving woman though. My friend started out nice but became resentful of the young 5 year old child as the relationship went on. He treated that young child like crap after a while when the mom wasn't looking. They got married and he had 2 children (daughters) with that single mom, but never accepted that kid as his own family. He later admitted his family would have been "perfect" if it weren't for that young kid being around. He resented that kid and EVERYONE (his friends and family) could see it. The kid was a pretty sweet and funny child. But he was really afraid of his step-dad. Whenever he brought his family around for get togethers or vacations, he would spoil his daughters but would yell at the young boy. I could see the kid didn't want to be around him alone without his mom. Anyway, I stopped being friends with him after I saw what he did. And the last words I told him was that he was being a huge absolute a-hole to an innocent boy that didn't deserve it. And that karma would come back to bite him. This was 25 years ago. I hope that kid turned out alright. If you do choose to date a single mom. Be a man. Don't take it out on the kids.

@@damondenis9620 - I did tell the mom that her son wasn't being treated nicely by his step-dad, and that she needs to do be aware of it and do something about it. Anyone could see the unfairness, and harshness when we had family and friend gatherings. The boy just wanted to play and have fun, but he treated his step-son very harshly. The step dad would Lash out at him over the smallest things. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and thought maybe she wasn't aware of what was going on. I told her several times that her son was being treated harshly by the step-dad, but ultimately she just brushed off my words. Or perhaps she chose not to believe me. She seemed very loving, but I think her fatal flaw was that she was blinded by love, and hoped (like many women who married bad men) that he would "change" with time. Very stupid idea. People do not change. I don't think she wanted to face reality that she made a bad choice in a husband. Again, this there's was not much else I could do. I was just a friend, and he never hit or put his hands on the boy in front of us. But the boy seemed scared and didn't want to be left alone with the step-dad. I said my words to each of them. Then I cut ties. Out families were already drifting apart anyway. Hope the boy turned out okay. This was 25 years ago.

She was perfect for me at the time bc she was busy so we would only hang out maybe 2 times a week and it didn't cramp my busy lifestyle. I obviously told her I thought we were in the right spot, busy lives blah blah blah. She didn't like this, masked slipped and a lot of drama ensued. I'm 34 and don't need or want the drama, I have been currently dating a 25 year old elementary school teacher for a couple months and have had no drama so far. Dont put up with the bs guys.

@6:22 "If you want to get into a fwb type of scenario, friends with benefits, fine"....No dude! This is NOT fine. FFS stop telling these guys that it is ok to fwb with single moms. You DO NOT EVER friends with benefits (FWB) with a single mom. She can easily get knocked up again like she did the first, second, or even third time. If you're a guy that takes that advice, then don't cry and whine about it when you add another kid to her collection and you're on the hook.

I note videos like this often and I understand the general point. That said, my mother was divorced with a child (me) and she married a good man who raised me and treated me like his own. He was the only father I ever knew. My aunt (my mother's sister) was in the same boat and she also married a man that treated her son like his own. I understand the potential for problems, but there are at least two cases where I know for certain that turned out very well.

Like I don't care what your stepdad did and how well it worked for him, do you trust it enough to think it would work out for you? For every success story like yours, there's a thousand failure stories in regards to single moms.

Lol I feel like almost all us red pilled guys have had an experience with single moms. I dated one with three children by two different dudes. Was just desperate for some physical intimacy at the time and ended up helping her with money, and also being the main signee for a bank loan to pay for her car cause her credit was shit. Never was an issue getting money from her to pay for the car payment lol even after we broke up. Luckily she hit a deer and the car was a write off so the insurance company paid the remainder on the car lmao. Anyways so many other stories I could tell about her, honestly I'm glad she was the one who broke up with me. At that point I had already brushed her hand away from grabbing my crotch, and that really annoyed her LMAO. Also her eldest daughter back talking me and then the mother got angry when I clapped back at the kid lol.

I’ve totally experienced everything you’ve stated in your vid’s about dating single moms. I never wanted to raise children cause was more focused on getting to & through med school after my divorce. I figured I’d go into a career that could replace a marriage cause I saw how dedicated a lot of practitioners were to their profession. Through my younger years after my divorce, I’ve only dated 2 girls with a single kid. I often feel like a hypocrite having a step dad of my own but it is what it is. Having my own crib now only reinforces how I’d rather be alone than date a single mum again. What’s crazy is I once fell hard for a single mum & was open to being a leadership figure to them but my ex’s demons destroyed that possibility. Keep preaching the gospel brotha!

In the beginning everything was good and as time went on I couldn't discipline "her" kids, and also they were avoiding their own dad, so they were around 100% of the time. It was infuriating. She ended up breaking things off because I would push back and would not conform to being a cuckold. Best thing that happened to me. Leveled up got a new job making 35k more a year and met my new girl who's 29 without kids. Listen to Rich guys. Stay away from single moms it's not worth it. Like, you busted your ass, made a lot of money, now you wanna settle down with a young lady with no baggage and have a family - ok, the world is your oyster! But, I honestly don't think it's that easy, even if the dude is a fairly attractive and in-shape millionaire. On the whole, I honestly think young ladies naturally prefer younger dudes. In a nutshell simply understand that you don't have time to waste at all. Keep your man happy, be feminine and you won't have to worry about anything else for the rest of your life. As a rational and pragmatic 27 year old man, I really can't make it any more simple than that, it's a very straightforward formula. The hard part is convincing you (vvomen in general) that that is a better long term decision than riding the cc with Paco and Tyrone during your 20's and then you decide to grab a high value man off the hvm tree. If you understand gambling, put it like this: you are the blackjack player that has managed to double her bankroll. You cash out NOW. Every bad decision means you lose 2 extra chips.

In my opinion there will be nothing left but single moms. They practically allow themselves to get knocked up and abandoned 3-5 times in their twenties. Around that age women with one kid were ghosting me only to end up pregnant and alone again, they're seeking adventure and excitement. Now that I've reached thirty, I've got moms that can't have anymore flirting with me. Some are dumb enough to think marriage can still happen while others just invite me over to Netflix and chill. Not arguing with marrying and having kids with a younger women, but most of them are too picky.

Having no authority over raising the other child is the least of your problems. The child will rarely see you as anything other than a problem in their life. They will talk you down, when you are not around. When the woman starts to tire of you, she will use her own child as a sounding board to also trash you behind your back. They end up supporting each others negative feelings towards you, and you will not win, you will in fact lose and lose big. So I agree....do not get involved with woman with children...period.

I can’t help but roll my eyes and sigh every time I think of him. He’s hinted at wanting to buy a house to move into with his “family” but I don’t see how he can pull it off when he sucks with money so bad that he had to recently ask our parents for electric bill money. Pays the bare minimum of his behind bills racking up more by the month. Too cheap with his truck maintenance and skips on a needed repairs and now his truck is done for. It goes on. We’re not close but I assumed he would’ve picked up some inspiration from watching me how I’m doing life by pretty much the opposite of everything he’s doing wrong.

I’m dating someone new, he’s 34. He’s got no problem with me having kids and hasn’t met them yet except in VR playing video games. They’ll be with me all summer though soon. How can I best handle the intro of my guy and my little guys without it being awkward or infringing on him and our relationship? Or is it best to just keep my kids separate from my boyfriend? I’d like everyone to be happy, and aside from that I have no opinion on whether they meet and interact or not… would appreciate opinions! Also, I think it would be extremely rude/disrespectful for me to have “family” events with my ex with the kids! I’m actually surprised to hear some women do that and think it’s ok! I wouldn’t like it if the shoe were on the other foot and I appreciate you validating that to men that it’s not ok to keep playing house w/ your ex.
