Reanne: Six hours to make history | Reanne Evans vs Robin Hull | 2017 World Championship

Спорт

Reanne Evans has a great opportunity to make history at the 2017 World Championship if she manages to win her qualifying match to become the first woman to win a match at the most important snooker tournament. However, although she is playing in high standard, it's difficult as she faces a top player opponent like Robin Hull.
The statistics shown in the video correspond to the date of the match.
Cesar Muroya created a unique editing technique to extract the essence of the game without losing the drama involved. Contextual information is also an innovation appreciated by viewers.
This format is not intended to substitute the full version but rather to make snooker more accessible to new fans. The fluency and atmosphere of the game stay in a shorter length video, allowing even experienced fans to enjoy snooker at any time.

    Reanne Evans is another player who can use both hands. She is right handed but during the lockdown participated in a challenge where she made a century break, all left handed. I would like to see a left handed challenge between her and Ronnie O'Sullivan

    She can pot balls, no doubt! Hope other aspects like control and break building improve. Wouldn't put it past her to be the first woman to win a major tournament if it does.

    Seriously? Control and break building? She cleared many times with outstanding cue ball control and difficult potting. Maybe we didn't watch the same video?

  • @simmerke1111

    @simmerke1111

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@physicsguybrian She's definitely good. And her control is great, just not tournament winning level. She makes most of her breaks work due to her great potting. There's some awkward positions and ends short on quite a few shots where she has room to spare if she goes long. Being critical perhaps, but there's room to improve and I'd say it's more in the control and break building department rather than her already exceptional potting.

    @@leonardbangay2178 In the women league. No offense, but that's playing tennis with the net down. There's very few women at top level. I'm praising her for her game. Just saying she has to improve in certain elements to compete at the top level with men. Her being in the world championship as the first woman is a great achievement. But also shows how far behind the women league truly is. She has the capability, to break more of these records. Just not yet.

    It must be a psychological barrier vs men because there is no rational reason why Reanne's skills could not beat the best. She is amazing!!! Her potting, cue ball control, and break building are quite literally O'Sullivan level. Someday she will win the WSC! Come on Reanne!!!!!

    Reanne Evens is the Ronnie O'Sullivan of womens snooker, only she's more consistent and has won way more titles than Ronnie. Id love to meet her and spend the day playing snooker again her, it would be awesome, as she is a great pjayer👍👍👍👍. And far as you Caesar i find your comments overly critical and even sexist. Do you have a problem with Reanne or is it just women snooker player's or women in general you have a problem with?
