Well, he actually just said 11 hrs a day, 7 days a week, here‘s why. 11 days a week, has 4 extra days. 4 x 7 = 28. 28/7 = 4, which gives 4 extra hours per day , so thats 11 hours a day 7 days a week. Which the nearest locations near me, the hours are 6am - 12 pm, having 18 hours a day, seven days a week, so this video is wrong.

That's a good general rule, but there are hotels that used to be motels, and motels with internal rooms. The harder distinction lies in the list of amenities. Motels are "motor hotels". They're primarily intended as cheap places where exhausted people on a road trip can park their cars, clean themselves up, and sleep for a night or two in an _actual bed_ before moving on to the place where they _really_ wanted to go. There _might_ be an _extremely basic_ breakfast offered in the morning; there may or may not be a pool; there's a slim chance there might be a hot tub by the pool (if there _is_ a pool). The nicer ones might offer laundry service, likely at a surcharge. That's pretty much all the "bells and whistles" you can expect at a "motel". Hotels are much more extravagant, generally expensive (compared to motels in the area at least), and are usually located deeper within towns and cities, near residential and tourist areas, as opposed to on the outskirts or in the middle of nowhere like motels. Rooms are usually more comfortable and the list of services is generally broader. A breakfast buffet, a pool, a hot tub, laundry service, room service, a concierge, a restaurant, a "business center", a gym; well equipped hotels will often have many of these, or even all this and more. In brief, setting aside personal cases when you have no money, have a ton of money, or care much less about your living accommodations than having fun at whatever attractions you came for: "Motels" are for passing through; "Hotels" are for your final destination.
