Youd be amazed what an sa 12 can do in a reg cab Just totaled it too. 24 cans of spray foam in rear wall and b pillars .and surrounding roof area.. she was dead..and now she really is..rip Red..it slammed too. Zv5 on deck..for next truck.

I would not have been able to guess a single sub set up. Sounds very deep, I am very impressed with your setup and you still have plenty of space can't ask for more 🤙 I would agree with Jacob if you have not put in a volt meter yet would be a good idea. You can make it look like it came with the car easily, if if you use a stinger cigarette lighter meter. Better than nothing you know. Those skar amps can pull alot of current.

The mkx s have a very insulated cabin , holding true to Lincoln's quite ride . I want to say the charging system is great with all the electronics, it more than likeley has close to a 200 amp alt from the factory. Very good vehicle and system choice btw , nice clean setup.

Nick_ Nutty....agreed. Looks too big for a 12 but idk the specs. They say for spl putting the sub furthest away from port mouth adds db’s

That's damn impressive!! Sounds awesome and it's loud as hell for one sub. I have the polls Pioneer Premier 3,000 watt sub. It still slaps after all this time, but I don't come anywhere close to using those watts.... Lol.

Yez u definitely want to get a decent volt meter to keep an eye on it with only having the stock alt. I advise a nice 250 or 270 amp alt asap bro u will hear the difference

I think he should flip box around and move amp to the back. I think front facing port is better for longevity of the headliner and other parts. You'll loosen less bolts probably. I just don't think the extra DB (if that) is worth firing port to the rear

Yeah I originally had two x12's built by Dave Leib on a skar sk3500.1 at half ohm in my mkx and it slammed and broke my sunroof lol but I have since upgraded to 4 SA15'S and two skar SKv1-3500.1's strapped but I have 4 X15'S and two soundqubed q-4500.1's going in this spring

amazing setup

The 1sub gang taking over it seems like alot of people are going one sub. I went with one 15 DB apocalypse and it's very impressive just like this simple clean setup. I'm running stock electrics with a SHCA amp and big 3 kit and it pounds for not being a big crazy system. The box is a nice basic box the sub is hellz yeah but overall nice setup.

Wire that ground from the battery to your ground chassis so it's charging

Dude that enclosure alone I’m sure is like 200. Plus the wiring, install, mids and highs, I’m pretty sure closer around 2k. Not including an alt battery

Hell yeah, I have an 08 Lincoln mkx with 4 sundown SA15'S on two skar SKv1-3500.1's strapped, CES 300amp alt xs D3400 under hood and d3100 out back with a juice box 20ah lithium battery piggybacked... But come spring I will building a new box and switching to 4 X15D2'S on two soundqubed q-4500.1's one amp to 2 subs at half ohm each...

Pretty close to the setup I got in my yukon , single psi platform 3 in a 3.18 cuft box tuned at 32hz , wired at .7 ohm with an rp 2000 pulled a 144.8 @40 hz sealed on the dash last September

Nice & simple build i like it id love 2 hear it when he puts more power on it. Id add a epicenter and a audio control 3.2 eq too enhance it even more. Plus one more 15" zv5 and put a Taramp Bass 15k on them 2-15" omg youd be waayy happy trust me. I have 4-15" zv5 on 2 Taramps MD12Ks almost done with the build just need 2 more banks of lithium ying long
