Realization of PI Controller using Analog Electronics | Calculations & SPICE Simulations | Example 1

In this video, we will discuss an example to realize a PI controller. From the given transfer function of a PI controller, we will determine the PI controller high-frequency gain and the PI controller zero. We will use electronic components (op-amp, resistors, and capacitor) to realize the PI controller transfer function. The given PI controller transfer function will be compared with the transfer function of the analog electronics circuit. By comparing the terms of both transfer function, we can determine the values of the components.

You can realize the transfer function using Op-Amp circuits by looking at the poles, zeros, and the DC gain of the transfer function. The realization of the PI controller in this example also uses the location of the pole, zero, and the DC gain.

@@CanBijles do you have video explaning the direct relation between capacitor / resistors and poles , zeros and DC gain ? for eg : having 3 poles and 2 zeros implies choosing X Capacitor and X resistors in Feedback or in other place ..

@@mohameddrissi1075I do not have a video specifically discussing this topic. Maybe is good to prepare some examples about it. Will be in the list.
