12:21 Another great 👍 video Will. May I suggest (as a transplant to Texas from the north and because I didn't know myself) you must preheat your tortillas in a relatively-hot, dry pan in order to make them plyable. Just enough to get some burnty bubbles. The little burnty bubbles add flavor and helps keep the tortillas from cracking and leaking out your delicious fajita juices. Edit: separate your heated tortillas with paper towels or else they'll stick together.

Loved the realism , not moaning at all. We’ve just come back from pretty much the same trip except the other direction. We bailed on going as north as Durness as our weather wants s much worse than yours. We stayed at Broomfield’s too , 2 spots down from your pitch. They were keeping all the shower doors open cause if covid, coldest and windiest shower I’ve ever had 😂

You can do a very simple shower/toilet in the van. I have seen wet bathes that fold up in a simple counter cabinet. There is even plans for a toilet in a box on line. Kind a toilet footrest. I have seen people just hang a curtain in a circle and stand in a bucket 😄. I don’t think it’s necessary to build a tall bathroom enclosure. You need a water tank probably. I have seen portable camp showers that are heated. I have used a solar backpacking shower and they are fine. I think there are battery powered faucets on line too but not heated.

I have the same water container. If you slightly undo the top screen lid whilst pouring then water comes out smooth and fast

In Scotland it’s considered cheeky for a chip shop to give you one bit of fish although it’s much more common these days.

Just love how far you've come in the last year or so! Got my own van (Renault Trafic) a month or so ago... not a fancy conversion but fits everything I need and already had some adventures... Love the east of Scotland, hope yo manage to get on to Skye... Beautiful!

For example... you just had a shower, gave your hair a good comb and then put your hat on!! 😂🤣 Some beautiful beaches and locations you showed us, even if the weather wasn't 'postcard' weather. another great video, just for the future, we used to use propane at work quite a lot and noticed that the gas from a gas bottle does start to smell a bit more the nearer it gets to running out.

I watched your channel when you did your Galaxy as a camper but now that you have your van it has perked my interest more as when I've finished with my van for work, we'll be converting it into a camper like you. Its a Citroen Relay L3 H2. Please will you do a vlog on your new rear camera and tech set-up in your cab... New rear cam, phone holder you use etc.... Keep up the good work!! :)

That weather is such a kicker with Scotland unfortunately. I'm a biker and I'd love to ride those roads and vistas on my bike but I just cannot be fucked with spending 2/3 of any trip sodden. You never dry out once wet on a bike too, and it takes all the fun out of it.

Love your down to earth attitude and not frightened to admit when you get it wrong. I think personally I would rather see a natural video than one that has everything perfect a edited to look very professional. Just started watching you, love your enthusiasm and drive. Sorry to say, I felt better, your Scotland trip was rain and cloud and mist filled - because me n the misses had 3 weeks very similar areas in august just gone and had rain every day! so only one answer - gotta go back one day and get lucky :) lol.

I did the NC500 before it was thought of as a marketing event. Even in August campsites were not full. Back then, the chips in Ullapool were excellent. The pubs were not shabby either. Must get up there soon.

I stay in Scotland and drove most of those roads delivering for house of frasers. Ullapool is a lovely wee fishing village cracking chippy and the white building on the slope that's the pub cannot remember the name, was a great night when the fishermen came in form out on sea.
