Organic chemistry is better during summer because you don't have other college classes to distract you. It's a very challenging class. Also, get a good professor because that's makes a difference too....also some tutoring companies are good at reviewing organic chemistry and are familiar with how professors teach at your university

Back in my youth (32 years ago), I made history at my university for becoming the first student, ever, to earn a prefect final score in all organic chemistry courses (Organic Chem 1, Organic Chem 2, and Advanced Organic Chem) with 110% (I answered all the bonus questions correctly, hence surpassing the 100% mark.) I wasn't even a Chemistry major; I decided to enroll in these courses to augment my transcript's appeal should I decide to move on to graduate school. If I may give all prospective Organic Chem students some advice: Organic Chemistry is NOT hard. And you do NOT have to be intellectually superior to perform well. Organic Chemistry involves a lot of busy work, which means that you must allocate a good portion of your day to studying. If you study intensely, you will succeed beautifully. Do not be discouraged. You can do it. ❤

@@thenightking7167 Anyone?? That's where I think you are wrong. You are probably the Usain Bolt of Chemistry and right now you are saying anybody if they train right can run as fast as Usain Bolt. Nooo, sometimes its just talent and something that seem easy to you wil never ever be possible to someone else however hard or smart they try.

@@almostcomic, in the context of Organic Chemistry, I respectfully, yet vehemently disagree. Within the last 30 years, I have tutored many students who were barely passing, some even failing, their Organic Chem courses. Once I had the opportunity to get to know their studying habits, it became abundantly clear to me: The culprit was that they were not studying correctly. Once the studying method was adjusted, their performance gain was significantly remarkable. I wish, as you had stated, that I had an exceptionally high IQ. But I don't.

0:14 "Even tho I've put my whole being into this exam, it did not go nearly as well as I would've wanted it to" Girl I felt that 😭 Academic culture really be like that. It's nice to see people working hard and still having time to have fun and socialize. Mental rest and reset could go a long way to help you keep you going. I'm currently a 3rd year medstudent, but seeing orgchem stuff is still giving me war flashbacks 😭 Watching you guys power through all that deserves serious respect. Best of luck to your studies✨

That's a very powerful mindset, however it isn't realistic. She shouldn't spin much around getting only A's. High school isn't the same as college, even if you got straight A's in hc you should expect no more than 7,8 average in college and that's if you work hard , let alone holding an average A grade in Harvard Lol. Sure It's possible but not something everyone should look up to if they want to preserve their mental health. I think success has nothing to do with grades but with personal growth. The moment you stop linking good grades to success you will realize what real motivation is.

In my opinion, academic courses aren't about being smart or not, but more about strategic studying. The thing, though, is that the school system is badly designed and not optimized for us to learn those good strategies. The competitive environment doesn't help either and affects our self-esteem. So even if I don't know you, I'm *sure* that *you're a smart person that is capable of reaching any of their dreams*. Except if your dream is to become Spiderman, that might be a bit difficult ;)

My professor assigned no homework, and our grades were purely based off of 4 exams WITH ONLY 20 QUESTIONS EACH!!!! I was able to pass with a C because he offered extra credit at the end of the semester. Soon I'll be taking Orgo 2 and I'm wondering if I should take it over the summer because I can only imagine how more difficult it will be.

Hi! You choose a major and complete the courses that you need to do for that class, which are on its respective degree catalog on the college's website. I'm pretty sure all colleges have this, but mine has a general education program where all majors are required to take 1 or 2 classes of each core foundation like English, Math, Social Studies, Communications, History, and Science. If you have AP credit or dual enrollment credit in any of those subjects, you may automatically fulfill some of those requirements. You can take those general classes anytime during college - some try to finish it all in their freshman or sophomore year, some try to spread it out to all 4 years. And you can take the classes for your major with the general courses and even when they're completed :) I hope this helps! I'm sorry if my comment is too long! I'm a sophomore in college btw ☺️

By the term prejudice we mean judging someone or having an idea or opinion about them before we actually know anything about them. It means to evaluate others with nagative and faltering judgement? Prejudice arise when we don't like somebody just because of a mark or preconceived notion. When we make a decision about someone's worth based on their race, gender rather than actually getting to know them, we are acting under unfair influence, which is also called prejudice. prejudice involves strong ideas about certain people, their culture or their religion, which are different to change. Prejudice means prejudging. Unfortunately, we don't always see that we have been influenced by family, friends and others to have ideas about something or someone of which we don't have any personal experience. Prejudice can be based on almost anything, like religion, or the colour of our,or what kind of music we listen to. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Plumbing, boilers, generators, air conditions, loud speakers and music create a lot of noise in the buildings and our living places and add to the prevailing noise pollution. Deafness, temporary or permanent,is one of the most prevalent effects of noise pollution. Sometimes, being surrounded by too much of noise, people can become victims of certain diseases, like blood pressure, mental illness, etc?) Print culture is not healthy but Brain is great.😅😅😅😅😅

Standards. Without them Harvard wouldn’t be one of the best universities on the planet🙏🏼👍 Once you passed the test how good did you feel about yourself😇 As my college professor used to say, “You are all better people after completing the class.” That’s my point. Now you have standards😉

After returning to India,Gandhiji visited all parts of the country. He became sad seeing the terrible poverty of the people. Now his aim was to fight against the English and also against the social and religious evils, especially the caste system? He encouraged the people to stand against unjust laws made by the government. 👍👍👍👍👍
