Hi wholly. So I tried the micro link sew-in with hand tied wefts the other day on myself. I anchored the thread from each beads. It feels fine and looks great. But then I decided to take 3 beads out on both ends to move em up slightly. Then I realised, the beads literally cuts through my real hair. It’s only been 1 day and my hair can’t be shedding this much. Especially from only 3 beads. I got super anxious and I took em all out to check. It happened to all the other beads. I got so frustrated seeing all my real hair on the floor and all of them cut pretty much the same way (on the root. Cause I have 2 inches of color #2 roots fade to a level 10). I was sure that I didn’t pressed the beads too tight cause I knew they’ll cut through my real hair if I did, so I just pressed them close enough that they didn’t slide off. But they still cut my hair. Is it because of the cheap beads? I mean, aren’t they all created the same? Like, material wise, etc.? They’re made out of metals with silicone lining in it. Aren’t they all? I spent so much money on amazing hand tied wefts and this happened? lol. I swear I didn’t pressed them too tightly. But clearly I over did it somehow? Should I get a “better” beads? Help? Thanks.

All I do at my salon allllllll day is convert people from sew in wefts, beaded, and fusions into tape in clients . Love that they come up with differnt methods but allllllllllll I do is see major major major hair loss from these 3 methods . Try babe tape in they use medical tape pressed with kertian so it heals the hair.
