Love the reviews like this big time. As for the enduro sole boots, I didn't think it mattered either until I rode with Astar non enduro sole and when you're putting your foot down on the side of a stream, or hard enduro in big rocks, the non enduro sole just slides all over the place. The enduro sole has better traction with enduro ride areas where you put our foot down during pivot action and other movements.

I run a crossbite front with a T 45 rear here in Central Oregon. Very similar to your riding area. Tears it up and tracks so nicely. Im actually looking at getting Alpinestars 7 enduros soon. Im told they do nicely with large feet with floating arches "size 13"

Really like the Tech7's, more comfortable to me than the Sidi boots I have. Will say....feels weird but I think my feet do get hotter in the Tech7's and sweat more...there's an "ohhh dear!!" coming from my boots after a long ride :).

I just did a review of the AT82. Should give it a shot. The front would kill it in that terrain. Crossbite rear was pretty good - the front was the worst tire I've ever ran 😂. Talon front is a stealthy killer... if I ever get done reviewing new models I'm gonna run it again 🤐

Lots to say.... I like this style of video. I'd be curious to know who resoled your SG22's as well as cost, quality, turnaround time, etc. - maybe a quick video after you get them back? WLF Pack Vest for the win for sure. I love mine. A "what you carry" in it video would be great. I agree, Tech 7's are a great boot for the price!

I don't like being a negative person, but my Tech 7 enduros, in my opinion were junk. Especially for an almost $400 boot. The toe box is soft that I hurt myself twice. The ankle "hinge" doesn't line up from one side of the boot to the other, rendering it useless, and once side of the hinge is thin plastic. But worst of all the completely disintegrated two years! Literally the plastic cracked up and fell apart. I replaced then with a pair of Bogotto boots (stitched soles) from FC Moto. $170 shipped to my door and they are far superior than the Tech 7's in every way. The brace that runs up the back of the boot ( that wasn't even present in the Tech 7's) is legit and the angle hinges are perfect. My buddy's that have been using Gaerne's are sold on them as well. FYI for anyone tires of paying premium prices for shit that's getting outsourced to China anyway.

I can understand all that. I switched away from A Stars a long time ago and I’m honestly surprised that I like these but I do. Don’t have enough time on them to know about durability yet. But I’m stoked that my Gaerne’s just showed back up b
