I am a big proponent of properly matched systems, I have seen too many problems from mismatched systems because customers have tried to save money. When installing a mismatch system, always provide an option for a properly matched system as the recommended course of action, and provide a disclaimer with the mismatched option that there could be comfort issues that you are not responsible for and could have to be corrected at an additional cost.
Glad you still making video you are the OG
Size matters a lot when you’re dealing with an attic unit. TXV is imho the best all around performance. Good info
I like Parker TXV kit. 4 valves and adapters take care of most jobs. Thank you for the info.
Great info! 🙌🏼 cheers brother
Can you do a "Ductwork sizing basics" video for residential HVAC systems? Preferably for air handler/heat pumps? Im a fujitsu guy in NE Pennsylvania and can't seam to figure out the correct duct sizing, static, and cfm for ductwork on them compared to our good ole relaible furnace/ac split systems.
WOW 😮..... Just what I need to know Trane quality. Just bought Complete AC and Heating System RunTru By Trane. The a coil was Damaged and Returned
How do you calculate the replacement of a piston with a txv? And if a txv is so much better then wouldn't an electrical controlled txv be best?
This could be relevant to me, as I try to deal with the undersized system we were sold.
What sucks is nowadays you can't swap out a condenser and case coil (gas furnace) unless it meets the AHRI Reference sheet for your manufacturer you install.
I’m glad around here 99% of stuff is furnaces in basements. Attic work sucks.

I charge extra for attics.
the solution to the blower speed/de humidification dilemma is to run 400 cfm per ton but use humidity control and slow down as needed on demand, getting the best of both
I am in it to win it. Hope this is my month.
It's all about the money, honey ❤️.
