I work for Nike and I went to visit a factory in China where the Jordans are made. When people say there "fake" its not true, they are "real" just defective shoe that didnt make the cut. They normally throw out to the trash, BUT there are people who buy them for dirt cheap and resell them online for $50-150+.

Also most of those sellers sell the same batches like h12 or best batch but for different prices so they use terms like 1:1 or ua to get people who are misinformed to buy at a slightly higher price. As long as you know who your buying from and qc your reps properly you'll get something worth your dollar.

Aye man really like your vids but one thing I wanna say is I don't think fake is the right term for this because I have a friend who works in a Nike factory and she said Nike will give blue prints for the shoe and they'll make 50,000 out of those 50,000 Nike might only take 30,000 they make over what Nike ask just in case they don't pass quality control that's why there small differences that's also y there's a such thing as b grades same shoe materials and factory just made poorly and instead of throwing them away they sell to the public for extra money because Nike doesn't pay these workers enough to live on don't get me wrong I do believe fakes are out there but I think shoes that are extremely close are the same shoes just minor defects and believe it or not most sneaker websites who arent authorized with Nike or Jordan brand like kicks on fire, sneakernews and flight club get there shoes from these people how do you think early pictures of shoes leak and some people get early pairs .... keep doing your thing bro

Cause at first glance I got caught as the video went on I was able to tell. but when you go in store videos like this will be able to help ppl to check out before you make a purchase. Cause right here in Trinidad a well respected shoe dealer had fakes mixed up with real and when he was called out he said he got them from different suppliers. Ever since the new camera came in, the picture quality looks better. However there is like some sorta frame rate lag in the video itself imo. I am glad you are critical this helps a lot. I do know there was 3 segments in this video that I took off the tripod to get a better angle and it was shaky. I tried to fix it the best I could in final cut pro which it looks better but still slightly shaky. Could you tell me what parts in the video are off?

You can tell just by looking at the stitching around the nike logo, the ones to the right are sloppy, I found a pair of fakes at Champs, they sometimes have fakes and reals.

What if my box has a stamp on the inside of box but not on the lid?

Do the authentic pairs come with white lace along with the red laces

the leather on these is Butter soft. better than breds and Royals. UNC is best leather out of OG colorways and these are a close second.

The red in the fakes us also a little darker. Almost like an ox blood red.

ok so for my pair i recently purchased them off of stockX and the only thing that differ from my pair and you're is that the nike air on the tongue does not sit on the stitched line however it is not nearly as spaced as the fakes.

Thanks for this very helpful and informative. So much detail. The joint RD in Wings logo was the massive tell and the cardboard insert and boxy rear. Great work. Do you not think peaks and over stitching on some could just be QC issues though?

back in the days, you can smell fakes miles away while sleeping. These days you have to zoom/look very close to figure out fakes. I'm pretty sure 10 years later people will start using microscopes to tell if fake or not

Notice the "check" of the Nike on both of its sole. The fake one didn't reach up to the middle area of the "N", it's shorter. :)

Maybe yes maybe not bro. It could be fake or real. Because even the real ones have flaws. Some dude the other day bought his Royal directly from Nike and his Royal had major flaw. The toes different. The other tumbled leather and the other flat leather . He was disappointed because it wasn’t cheap. If we pay a lot of money we expect them to be flawless. But Nike tends to do this mistake. Even the fake ones these days have legit stamp on their boxes. Just hope your Jordans are real bro

one of my buddy had a fake pair of bred toes he bought from a LA boutique store 2 years later he found it it was fake there was no difference besides production date he was like fuck it its been two years since ive had these and the quality of the leather is the same nobody knew so he kept rocking them lol
