The Singer is a show where you can find great singers, great talents. It is a popularity show where the audience decides who is the most liked ...... I have really discovered many wonderful singers in it, from Dimash, Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen to others like Bii, Lee Hom Wang, Terry Lin, Liu Huan, Tia Ray, Wu Tsing-fong, Chen Chusheng, Lala Shu, and a host of others. Sometimes I think we are missing out on great artists just by not looking at what exists on the other side of the world .......

Just as a build in the tempo, resonance etc...I definitely learned something from this reaction! Thank you for that and for all your great '2 Minute Tutorials'! They really help when beginners like myself are trying to work on one thing at a time and to not be overwhelmed by all the skills to work on. Most singers use autotuned to make their voice sound better, KZ used her voice to make autotuned sound better. It was a breath taking intro, but that was the previous reaction. Loved this rendition by KZ, showed more of her talent. For some more KZ I highly recommend her duet with Jaya of Feeling Good, just some world class singing in that by both of them. Now if you want just a fun, light hearted song, try Doo Wop/Can't take my eyes off you. Great cover of Lauren Hill with KZ and 2 other talented singers

It seems there is no end to your wonderful critique and explanations for not only how the voice and body movements during a performance make for a well orchestrated success. I appreciate your in depth comments and tutorials. It's kind of strange that I seem to be getting the exact teaching I feel is required for me to finish wring my song. I think I may be more apt to sing a song I composed better than singing other people's work simply because I've experienced my song and I can choose the melody. Hopefully that makes sense. Also, I've gone to school for acting and modeling and your videos (and others) help me understand more fully not only the importance of diction and enunciation, but also how to craft it to actually create the characters. By the way-i enjoy your presentation on camera. You seem quite fluid and at ease. In my experience it comes from confidence and that comes from learning. I get lazy off stage, but put me in front of a million people and I'll have everyone entertained and on fire! Truly the crowd fuels the performer to do not only good work, but excellent work. Thank you.

I'm impressed with how KZ continues to change songs but in very enjoyable ways. I've looked through your reaction videos and don't see any about another amazing Filipino singer, Sam Mangubat. Please, react to Sam Mangubat and Billie Padillo doing Adele's 'When We Were Young'. Id love to hear your comments on their version of this song. Thank you.

I just want to let you know that I REALLY LOVE your reaction videos that also have a ton of 'lessons' and I like that very much because it can motivate someone or improve their vocals and especially your positivity or being optimistic through your videos and to your subs/commenters despite some of it was negative, you still manage to give a positive feedback. The first video that I watched in your reacting videos was you reacting on Zayn's best notes and this video will be the fifth video that I'll be watching as your subscriber.

This was the time during the singing competition when they told her they have no time to rehearse with the band. Generally a pressure for her but she called her guitarist friend from the Phils to fly in time, so that's why she was able to do this with him. It's rushed but it was really good!!!

In the competition The Singer, autotune is not allowed to be used by any contestant whether to create an effect or not. One reactor with a background in sound engineer explained that a talkbox was used at the intro of KZ's "Rolling in the Deep" to create that futuristic/robotic sound. Apparently, autotune and talkbox are two different things.

Btw first of all , that's "KZ Tan-di-ngan" hehe. Anyway Fun facts: KZ prepared a different song for this episode and the arrangement for that song came from the Philippines. Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) decided last minute to change the song because they felt the song is not well known in China and asked KZ to perform 'Say Something' instead since this is one of the songs she performed during the audition that really left a mark on them. We had to fly Macoy (her guitarist) last minute for this and she only got to rehearse this song on the day of the recording but still delivered an awesome performance." Also KZ also received a Tweet from the original performers of the song, A Great Big World. The New York-based musical duo said, "Wow. @KZOfficial. Wow." Hope this info helps 😄

she couldn't reach higher notes after getting sick or something, and wanting to continue her singing, she reorganizes songs in a way that makes it shine for her. tbh I'm curious as to how her singing would sound if she could still reach higher notes, but I'm also happy since the turn out are all these amazing renditions and goosebump-filled performances. i am not crying (ಥ_ʖಥ)

Yeah she was using AT and a strong ammount , tho because of that ammount it was used as an effect, Hum, very interesting, the thing is alot of people commenting are not familiar with how AT works and he is right, i've used it on many people to get them back to the center of the note it's a slight amount but yes do that because even people with amazing talent to sing in tune are not machines and can use some help here and there or to add it as an effect . I'll listen to the track and leave my opinion:

KZ already said it was an auto tune at the start for artistic value. She also said you need to make it right to have the right effect even if it is auto tune. BTW since she change her song in the middle of the week they flew in the guitarist from Philippines as the band won’t have time to rehearse it.

It was an AUTOTUNE. BUT BUT BUT... It was not used to auto-tune her intonation, melotdy, pitch and etc. It was an artistic rendering of her voice which we sometimes call WET sound (wet signal) . Imogen Heap and T-Pain are a few of the artists who use auto-tune as an EFFECT.
