REAL TALK, Episode 1, This is reality | cargo van business

I did not work today, I had to take my cargo van in for maintenance. This has been on my mind for some time. This is REAL TALK. I can't lie to you or make you believe in some type of false reality. This is a real-life journey, and I feel obligated to tell you the true reality of this type of work. This is not for everyone. It takes a certain type of person to be a business owner, boss, entrepreneur, cargo van owner operator. I thank God every day for my blessings and ability to do this type of work. I am humbled every day and feel for all those who are not fortunate to be in my position. I hope this info is helpful to someone.

With the content your making you don't really need a lot of edits. When people watch you work they already know it's another day with CJ, you're motivating people to expand their horizon. Also it's a bonus that the videos feel like your uncle or somebody putting you on game while riding around working.

Appreciate that. The editing is my preference. I can't just post with no edits. I like to put time and effort into everything I do. Appreciate the comment tho 👍🏾

I'm in Atlanta Georgia. I honestly look forward to your videos. I purchased a little Ford transit connect last year in September and I'm trying to make it work. Your videos give me insight and tips that have been very beneficial.

I've been following you since the beginning and I'm also from San Antonio. My brother and I started a business back in 2022, but he was diagnosed with cancer not too long after and passed away. I haven't done anything with the business because I am scared to do it alone. Watching your channel is very inspiring and encouraging. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for following my advice on the Q&A. With regards to the KZread, i understand what you mean. I used to have another KZread channel (which was taken down for alleged copyright infringement) that one was a money maker for me. I would spend hours and hours doing edits etc. Just glad I am just watching videos now without that hassle. To cut down on this, maybe try uploading everything once a week when you are less busy? That way you get everything out and just relax.

Great Video as Always! I know exactly what you mean... I did a channel with my last business. Ran the channel for 5 years and grew it to 14K subs uploading at least once a week... I completely burned myself out.. actually to the point of selling the business and not wanting anything to do with that industry! Long story short ... removed all 300 + videos from the channel and turned the channel into a gaming channel to support my son on his journey to become a professional gamer! I expected to lose thousands of subs because gaming has nothing to do with that industry but surprisingly here I am with 14K subs! By the way.. I have a cargo van business now and was thinking about doing a channel for it...lol... seems like I would learn my lesson but I do enjoy helping others and the interaction. I just have to remind myself to keep KZread as a hobby/fun and not let it stress in any type of way!

You are right about everything you say. Right now I am debating if i should quit my 9-5 job for just doing deliveries. In my area all that works is favor, all other apps are not available in my area or on waitlist. But doing deliveries just with favor gets me thinking that I can do it just with that. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you CJ!!!

Thank you for this video. I am a pastor in upstate SC. I recently found your channel and have been contemplating reaching out. This video confirmed that I needed to. I am praying about doing my ministry on a bi-vocational basis and getting my own van. Would you be willing to talk with me? I'd like to get your professional opinion on what I'm considering. No hand holding, just some advice. This would be a huge step and you are the only one I've watched in this business who has spoken about their faith. That means a lot to me. God Bless.

I wouldn't delete/block anyone other than bots/spammers/scammers. I know a lot of creators delete/block negative comments, but it's too much like taking away someone's ability to speak. I'd rather allow people to talk bad about me, than remove their ability to do so, especially in this setting. When you block someone on these platforms, they might stay blocked even when they've had a change of heart--but if they aren't allowed to dicuss the content with other viewers, they'll lose interest. There's really no upside to blocking or deleting commets.

I think that you are missing CJ point. This is his channel. He is not asking for anyone opinion. He is giving his experience, not others, so what comments is needed? He is trying to sell anything, infact is given free info that others charges for. He is not forcing anyone to agree or view his channel

@@djjohnson8138 I haven't missed CJ's point--his point is not unique--many share it. I'm disagreeing with his assessment--there's a difference. The truth is, it's our nature to want to control things, so when given the ability, it often leads to abuse at worst, or hypocrisy at best. I don't know what country you are replying from, but in the US, our founders tried their best to create a system that would stymie government's ability to exert total control over the people. They tried--but everywhere you look, you see it unraveling--maybe too slowly for some to recognize, but the desire to control is taking over. The freedom to speak your mind, to say things others might not like--that right, that many of our men and women died to protect, is under attack by way of a rather clever workaround. The genius is that it doesn't require a diabolical mastermind, it's just letting nature take its course. If you give people the option of shutting-up their detractors, they will use it. And in doing so, they will have accepted this type of control as a legitimate exercise of power, so when the government begins limiting what people are allowed to say, they will meet less resistance...you know, because people will be conditioned to see words as something that must be stopped--and they will justify it the same way content creators justify it. Content creators do have the option of turning off comments on KZread--not saying I agree with that either, but that would affect everyone the same, and they wouldn't be tempted to pick and choose who gets to discuss, or what opinions are allowed, concerning the content they publish. About CJ...I admire what he's doing, and I know it's not something everyone can do--I'm talking about leaving his job and working for himself--but, when he says God is his CEO in one breath, and the next he says he will block/delete comments...honestly, I cringe. Why? Because if he's testifying to what God can/will do in peoples' lives, the last thing I'd want, is for him to lock people out and drive them away. My advice would be to trust God, and to let God use him to reach other people that might not know Him, or what He can do in their lives. He doesn't have to respond to negative comments directly, but if he sees it in his comments section, and feels moved to talk about it--that's okay...tell them your thoughts on the matter--if nothing else, it fills the gaps on a slow day. Again, there's really no upside to blocking or deleting anyone other than bots, spammers, or scammers.
