This film is hilarious. It is also sweet, and firmly rooted in Japanese sensibilities. However, that doesn’t take away from the film’s drama and its lessons on relationships. This was a pretty fun movie I saw back then! Fun fact: This comes from a Yahoo question. Also, this was adapted from a song (the one that is used as the theme when the title card appear) that was inspired by that Yahoo question. Surprisingly, a pure fluff, not with a twist angst.

🤨 I thought everyone did that because I did the same while growing up but when asked my mate once she said I wasn't normal even as a child and it made me feel a little uncomfortable. For those that don't know, in Japan doctors won't tell you if you are terminally ill. However, they will inform your family members.
