Firstly i was so surprised when i saw Yamal given the MOM award ahead of Vasquez and prompted my question that what is even the criteria of winning MOM award in a match? Secondly, Barca already accepted this defeat way before we even start the match. Imagine that the ticket reserved for the fans was not sold. The blame is totally on them cos they lack fighting spirit.

Luka modric had a very good game. He was even defending against yamal towards the end of the game.

I think part of Barca's downfall has been their mentality Ive watched interviews of the Barca players and respectfully they all look completely lifeless there is no hunger no passion in their eyes compare that to the Real Madrid players who look genuinely happy to be there and know and acknowledge what a privilege it is to play for the club you can see why Real Madrid have remained #1 all these years its their mentality and attitude I just dont see it for Barca right now I think theyre gonna continue to fall

Barca as an institution need to change if they are to be competitive again. They dont seem to like holding themselves accountable and just blame everything else but themselves. They had the lead twice today and yet still making excuses after poor defending and imploding. Am glad that real madrid is the direct opposite because whenever they lose or things dont go their way they fight till the end or hold the players, coaching staff or even the board accountable. If you dont maintain those standards you will never improve as a club. It baffles there are so many Barca outlets and media personnels who fail to understand that their team cannot grow or get better because they are stuck and pressured by the "Cruyff style" or "Barca DNA" that they dont realize that teams have found easy ways to counter their style. RM have managed to maintain relevance due to them only adopting winning mentality, dynamism and adapting themselves to win titles. Even Pep has abandoned that style of play a long time ago to keep his team at the top. Xavi is not a big coach and it shows because he continues to throw tantrum all over place instead of focusing on his team. Players can get easily demoralized if they see their leaders losing it and he has consistency failed this team over and over again with his antics then blames everybody but himself. Again Carlo being the complete opposite who had so many injuries and no top striker but never complains. He still managed to only lose 2 games at this point of the season, within grasp of his second trophy and fighting to win the UCL.

Accountability, a word that doesn’t exist in Xavi’s dictionary. Yes the refs have been abysmal this entire season for most of the games. Also all of Laliga voted for Javier’s salary increase including Barca. Only Real Madrid and Bilbao opposed it. Laliga being the 2nd most biggest league in the world and not having goal line technology is just pathetic man.

I have said to some fans out million times, If that goal had been given to Barca cos its was over the line, that wouldn't still stop Real Madrid from winning, cos when they scored their second goal around 70mins Real Madrid equalized between 4 to 5mins and later scored a winning goal, if their second goal came in earlier Real Madrid will score back, cos The way Real Madrid played today in the attack gave them chances and they utilize it.

I agree with the comments for Vini. His decision making needs improvement. He is not clinical enough. And part of that problem is not having a number 9 imo. When we had Benzema he was good at making decisions whether to pass dribble or shoot and had that amazing season. But now he is indecisive how to play in the final 3rd.

Without Ancelotti and his flexible tactics and managerial experience we would not be in the position we are right now, not with 3 Acl years to our back line, not without. True CDM and number 9. The man drops the ball time to time, he’s late on subs sometimes and he experiments. He has the complete faith of his players and the board and he trusts them all. 2 loses all season, with a depleted squad like ours is crazy. He’s brought out the best form in many of our players, most of which are playing out of position quite often. Cama, tchoumeni, rodrygo, vinicious, Bellingham. Because madrid defenders needed rest so he put cama at lb and tchoumeni as a CB. He didnt have many other midfield options besides ceballos but he is like joselu more of an extra body than a starter. Sure he could have started fran at lb and moved cama to the middle but fran has been shaky as a started and lost his place in the rotation. He played good today ill admit that but he has made mistakes previously and only redeemed himself today. Ancelotti is not perfect but his decision to play a dying formation has paid off. He turned jude into a goal scoring machine by playing him higher and now madrid has won the league and got revenge vs city
