I have tourette's and for people who don't know what it's like, that urge you have when you sneeze, you can't hold it in. It's basically the same with tourette's. I don't swear with mine but I have vocal and physical tics. Tics also really hurt to the point I've been crying and been in absolute agony.

I hope Connor got some intensive therapy through Great Ormond Street or elsewhere because he seems to have a lot of anger issues wrapped up with the Tourettes. Marco is a lovely, gentle boy. Connor did remarkably well suppressing his tiks.

I really hope Callum does become an Astronaut when he’s older, he really deserves it!

🇨🇦😭😭😭😭 when the young boy did his count down and made it to an HR, and he threw his arms in the air, I did the same thing for him while I watched him so, so proud of himself and as he "Should Be!" Omg I've cried throughout this documentary so much for these boys! I really, really hope that there is going to be a cure for this horrible disease some day and real soon. Kalsylvania Reseller For Connor it definitely does line up more with Tourette’s. His “other personality” explanation is him using a common cognitive distancing technique. To separate yourself from your illness by giving it a name to help him realize that his illness is not a part of who he really is as a person. It can be helpful for people who feel guilt over things they can’t control

My son's Tourette's are close to Connor's except for he doesn't swear anymore. I thought it was just him being impulsive from ADHD. It's heartbreaking. He's peers at school don't understand so he has a really tough time. Hoping his doc is right and they will gradually disappear as he ages. I used to have it as well with facial expressions and hand movements and still get bad urges ( especially now thinking about them) but I've learned to control all of them.

NoDramaMama 123 I’m just saying extra precautions should be in place to stop 9 yr olds from finding racial slurs out that have a disorder which makes any knowledge they have come out whenever .

@@slime_cookies123slime7 tourettes can get better naturally as people age. Some people have very severe cases of tourettes as children but as adults the tics they have can pretty much fade away.

Wow. These kids and their parents have come a long way after all of that treatment. It's just so heartwarming to see all of these conditions improving, making their lives much better. God bless their parents, the doctor, and all of the kids. I hope that they all live happy lives. Great video.
