Our bible story for you today, is about the Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel was built soon after Noah’s flood in the plain of Shinar. The tower was constructed out of baked bricks which were most likely kiln-dried with fire. The builders’ purpose was to make a name for themselves by creating a city with a tower that would reach the heavens and to protect themselves from another flood. Because the people of that day were afraid that God would send another flood to destroy everyone.
