Fox was cleared to hold short but it entered the runway without permission. It was given a phone number to call.

I love the sass in the voice of the SQ345 pilot.. and the “lao..” he let slip after reading back the RTO...

best part is that 345 didn’t pay any attention after he heard STOP so he didn’t register it was an animal. he was probably a little irked thinkng there was an incursion or something until he talked to ground again

@ That plane isn't lazy, the fox was lazy for not realizing a gigantic, and very noticeable airplane was heading it's way and deciding it's first action was, "Oh, an enormous aircraft that has the ability to crush me to death! I shouldn't go to the opposite direction of where I just went, to avoid this big and heavy object heading my way, and should in fact, continue to run in the direction where I have the chances of being hit and crushed by this object!" Basically : Fox lazy plane not lazy

ATC so polite to each other,one of the pilots asked what was the traffic on the runway,and ATC said it was a fox,there's a possibility you hit it,I'm only wondering why the plane took off,I thought if a plane hit something they had to get inspected. A great video Thankyou VASAviation.

It should always be correct and the focus has to be on the job but at least something like "Wind XYZ at x, no animals in sight, RWY Y, cleared for takeoff" would have been cool^^

This reminded me during one of my take off, as soon ina rotate at 55kt, a fox came out from no where and almost get ran over by me. I was glad that I rotate sooner or else it could end bad. I was flying in a Cessna 172s G1000, and as soon I cleared that fox, i let the tower know.

Good thing that fox wasn't hit by any aircraft as it could have caused a major incident, the ATC controller was right to halt all departures on that runway. I could see this potentially happening at Heathrow as well because of the rise in urban foxes in the London area and is one more reminder that when it comes down to wild creatures vs airplanes is not a good thing.

At least that vid has pretty girls.

Hell we hit a large animal on the runway in Lagos Nigeria. It scare the hell out of just about everyone. We managed to keep going. Pilot let us know what had happened 20 minutes into the flight. Ground personnel let the pilot know what he had hit.

I hope the fox is brown and quick and jumping over the lazy dog.😂
