All 110 people on board died.

This crash happened in 1956 when a united airlines Douglas dc-7 left wing was cut in half after it failed an attempt to avoid a TWA lockheed L-1049 which the dc-7 cut the entire portion of the tail wing off the team flight was the first to crash landing on it's roof
