I mean just think about it. God created galaxies, constellations, stars, planets, nebula, and other galactica, which we will never ever see nor explore, just because he wanted to blow our minds with His magnificent glory ! - I personally cannot wait to get to Heaven to either ask Him or to see all the other things in the universe, the cosmos, we could never have imagined and how utterly beautiful and stellar it all is !

Regarding the subject about inconsistency, I find the doctrine of the Trinity contradictory. God is the Father, God is the Son, and God is the Holy Spirit, and yet, the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is not the Son. It doesn't make sense to me. How can Christ as the Son of God the Father coeternal with the Father? Everyone knows that a son is a male offspring.

In regards to John 5:48 (time stamp 19:00), good deeds/works does save us, Hebrews 5:9. Unless a person obeys the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8, they cannot be saved. Obedience to the gospel is outlined in Romans 6:3-6. Mark 16:16 shows us two of the works that saves, belief and water baptism.

That is not true. Works are evidence of salvation not the cause of salvation. Jesus said on the Cross “It is finished”. No one can add to what Christ’s blood has done for us. Believing works can save you is blasphemous towards Christ l, because you’re saying Christ didn’t do enough, when He did it all through His grace. - Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Beyond that, is there a works meter that each one knows how many and which ones are the works that get you saved ? No there is not. Isaiah 64:6a “For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like filthy rags,” In terms of baptism, baptism is an ordinance of showing your internal beliefs externally to the public, nothing more. The thief next to Christ on the Cross wasn’t baptized, yet went with Jesus to Paradise.

This is out of love for all the mockers and unbelievers in these comments…The Coming Day of the Lord - 2 Peter 3:3-7 “Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming ? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” For they are willfully ignorant that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.”

Practice rational thinking exercise. First I think it’s safe to say that the scripture is clear in its claim to be the inspired word of God and numerous verses state that the scripture we have is sufficient knowledge for all learning and teaching and can provide man with all possible resources to be called perfect in Gods eyes. 2 Tim 3:16-17 is where that can be found. That’s the claim of the biblical text and if we can’t trust every teaching in the gospel dismissing something as unnecessary makes the entire thing questionable and subjective. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJVS [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. Must be made to mesh with these verses. James 2:17,20,24,26 KJVS [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. [20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? [24] Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. [26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Both are not metaphorical, they are not symbolic language… what is going on here? The short answer is that the Eph verses do not say that faith and grace is the complete list of all steps that lead to salvation. Surely nobody is going to argue repentance is unnecessary. How can we make faith and grace only work with Matthew 7:21-23 Matthew 7:21-23 KJVS [21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Those denominations who follow faith/grace only would have a difficult time trying to argue the group Jesus is condemning to eternity in hell wouldnt have been considered to saved. The passage is clear they definitely believed and had faith in who Jesus was and what he did for them. What did Jesus say the issue was? They worked iniquity that is to say without authority or against the lawful right. The statement that only ones to be saved would be “those who DO the will of the father” which is an absolute indication that there are things that need to be done! What things? Those things the Father had has provided to us through the gospel. I pray that we can all one day soon do as the scripture says and speak with one voice and not have divisions among Gods followers. Www . Bible . Ca. Take out the spaces if you are interested in different writings about various teachings of the Bible with scripture references for the thoughts and beliefs expressed.

Feelings. Feelings and emotions are often expressed and thought of as the same thing. Please don’t teach that feelings (emotions) are utterly irrelevant! As a child I lived that way, told to stuff inside feelings until at some point in the process I didn’t even know what feelings were anymore. IE don’t cry, with no emotional support or punishment for being angry even under valid circumstances) If you teach your children to deny their feelings, they will grow up to be very hard cold human beings, unless, of course, they later are fortunate to spend a lot of time in therapy figuring out what feelings are, and that bottling them up is unhealthy. There are many things that are true, it’s important that we separate true facts from fallacy when teaching our children , but one of the important truths is that we were created with feelings like fear anger sadness etc for a reason. I hesitate listening to this video in its entirety at the point you said that feelings are utterly irrelevant, and that we should teach our children that.

Jason Lisle it's not good to suppose that getting the Holy Spirit, you will be saved. You have to keep the Lord with you through obedience. You can, and will most likely offend and repel the Holy Spirit after you accept Christ. If you understand this, you can collate the writings of Jesus, James and Paul.

Are you LDS, by any chance? Anyhow, you are promoting heresy. If it were up to us to „keep the Lord with us through obedience“, then there‘d be no hope for us whatsoever. Lay down the shackles you put on yourself and accept the true Gospel. Otherwise, your path will only lead to your destruction.

The irony of this talk is that for a religious adult, the monster in the closet is God. The definition of religion is the belief in something without evidence. If you have evidence, therefore a good reason for your beliefs, then you are not religious because what you believe becomes an agreed fact. There is a reason why in the vernacular we say, for example: "he believes this like a religion". I agree with the fact that you should think rationally. But you demonstrate in most of your videos that you don't know how to apply it yourself.

  • @Jimmy-iy9pl

Even if that were true, nothing of significance follows from that. All you would have to do is separate theism from religion and now you have a belief that can be "rational" and evidence based.

How do you know something to be true? You use reason to come to the best logical conclusion. What you are promoting is nothing more than blind faith.
