Join us for Merthyr's family festival with a fabulous day of activities for the young and the young at heart.
The theme is bears and they'll be everywhere! There's a teddy bears picnic, a teddy bear treasure trail around town, teddy bear related arts and crafts activities ... and even a sponsored teddy bear parachute jump for the very bravest of teddy bears. Add to that a very special visitor all the way from darkest Peru - Paddington - and it's going to be a fantastic day.
Additional attractions include a community stage, a children's market, face painting, activities with the Heart Angels, sports activities, storytelling, a photo booth, children's rides ... and much more!
Don't forget that it's only £1 to park all day in the town's pay and display car parks on Saturdays so you can relax, take your time and make a day of it!
The festival is organised and funded by The Big Heart of Merthry Tydfil Business Improvement District.
