It's not in the video but the leitmotif that both the mindjot map and Amos volls map has can be heard in this map as well. It's very subtle but it's played by that buzzing instrument just like in mindjot

@@GlintEastwoodFilms Its great, I think my favorite so far is the sinuous trail full combat theme. I especially love that these three maps, 23 mb, mindjot, and health house all have similar melodies due to them being leads to each raid.

I'm assuming that either they heard the gunshots outside and didn't realize it was Swat or they knew about their boss' recreational activities and would've been implicated as well

Or wish to go from a charge of conspiracy to life in prison lol? These are not some low life criminals, these are family men, people with lives and homes with rational thinking, with an actual case to make about not being involved with the explicit activities of their boss. Makes zero sense.

@@Ladis1 Yeah, I'm mostly bullshitting lol. AI mod is pretty much required right now, since the AI is too brave. At the very least they can justify their bravery with their superhuman skills and reaction.

The peaceful yet dissonant piano, accompanied by a subtle yet intense electronic accompaniment really makes a nice contrast. Also, it definitely referenced the Mindjot data center, showing the connection between the two missions.

This sounds very Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The piano in particular, sounds a lot like how Trent plays piano

Agreed. Huge fan of Reznor and his work, that was one of my first thoughts listening to RoN's OST. Maybe they used it as inspiration. Dissonant, distorted, I feel RoN just wouldn't play like RoN without its soundtrack tbh

To anyone who would care to read this; I got this game 2 days ago and stopped dead in my tracks hearing this track. I'm 21, but I have the attitude of a die hard boomer shooter fan when it comes to the games I play. In other words, I'm a picky bitch. When I was a kid, I absolutely loved the realism in Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, and more particularly its intense and eerie soundtrack of simple dnb and other electronic synths. I was HOOKED. Something about it fit into the atmosphere of the game, invoking a sense of fight or flight as you and your squad would traverse the streets, fighting for your life. Then I hear this evil song on just the second level of this game. Turning to my squad stacking up on a door, commanding them to flash bang and clear the room, the droning music intensifying as we get into another firefight. I cannot properly describe the emotion this game had invoked in me that night. I feel like it had awoken a part of my childlike R6V2 brain again. I was taking the game as serious as I could have, treating my AI squad as if they were my partners that I had know for many years, clearing every corner of the apartment complex as if my life and the lives of many others were on the line. I had never experienced such a mindset from a game since R6V2, and this game nailed it unexpectedly well. There is no doubt in my mind that the music in this game will be permanently etched within my memory, just as Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 had many years ago.

I can't wait for the new combat music to be posted. I could've sworn they promised a soundtrack release once the game is released for getting the supporter edition but I didn't see anything

The part I love the most is how the music differs by the part of the map you are in (as well as what soft objectives you have reported I believe anyway) Alongside the Combat Triggers and what not.

If you extract the FMOD banks that contain the pure wavs on the current version, youll see that its all seperate clips that the dynamic music system dynamically puts in and out.

The first time I played this mission, I didn't really care about what was happening around and everything, but when I did this mission for S rank, the tension was high and my heart was biting me so strong. The moment I stopped for the soft picture mission, the dark music started. At that moment, I felt some oppression and a little fear realizing that a SWAT operator could have seen this kind of thing.

Because of the trailer I came into this level fully expecting it to be nothing, just a swatting and maybe one dude freaking out. I nearly shat myself when we started taking rounds from several people. I guess that's just like real life sometimes, you hope to death that it's not as bad as you think, instead of worse.
