This game had an unforgettable early access run in 2022. Practicing each map over and over becoming a pro only to find out that the AI had been updated and they were now hiding under tables waiting to stun you from behind. I was just flabbergasted.

From beginning to end, every transition and scene portrayed in the game is very powerful. Even better that long pause after asking “ Are you Ready” has a bigger impact than it should have.

As someone that was a massive fan of Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 where you were actually part of a tactical squad through story missions instead of it just being solely an online competitive game, I'm super happy that this game is a thing and its better than rainbow six could have ever been it feels like you're single handedly keeping that genre alive.

The old Rainbow Six titles were much more tactical with a heavy emphasis on mission planning. The Vegas games, fun though they are, were already a departure from the core formula.

Vegas were arcade shooters mate! Last true R6 was R6 3: Raven Shield. And that was almost two decades ago. Howerever RoN is about police and that is SWAT, with the last good game being SWAT 4 - also almost two decades ago. RoN is a true successor to the SWAT series. As for R6... I hope the team behind Ground Breach will deliver. GB has potential but there's still a lot of work to make it a good game out of a clumsy featureless (aside from weapon and operative customisation) coop shooter that its current early access state is.

​@BillyOwnsYourSoul A potato can run Rainbow Six 3, and it is easily the best one. With the Raven Shield 2.0 mod, have an endless amount of stuff to do. You've also got SWAT 3 & 4, which is what Ready or Not is a spiritual successor to.

From all the dev updates and this trailer its pretty much fact now: You have surpassed SWAT4. This is the game I wanted since I first came into contact with SWAT4. I have been playing early access for over a year now. Money well spent

Bought the Supporter Edition back in 2019… it’s amazing how far the game has come since then! Absolutely fantastic work, thank you for keeping the SWAT 4 spirit alive!

This is gonna sound weird but I’m so happy this is coming out when it is because on the 13 of December my sister, who passed away from some kind of cancer I can’t remember, will have a memorial that is gonna be pretty tough on my whole family. This update gives me something to come home to and sit down and take my mind of things. Rest in peace Ella.

Never stopped believing in you Void. I remember the days of following the reddit, even the only information we’d get about this game was concept arts/trailers/and tech clips. You’ve come a long way and have stuck to your vision. I commend the entire developer team for bringing the vision to fruition.

It's amazing how in less than 1 minute and 30 seconds this trailer is able to convey a semblance of the unparalleled chaos of SWAT combat, while leaving enough room to consider the inconceivable scars these experiences leave in its wake. It's about time that we have a game that focuses in on the minds of both the police and the victims, while opening the doors to the horrors which traumatize them both. Been a supporter since the first trailer, and a proud one at that. Well done, devs.

First time hearing of this game. Holy hell this felt like a punch to the gut - in a good way. The heavy impact of the weaponry, dragging fallen comrades, seeing a hostage situation go south in the worst way possible. And of course seeing the SWAT officer wind up in psychiatric evaluation - this is looking brutal and I'm eager to see more.

Dragging team mates is purely a part of the cinematic, but there are moments suspects can take hostages. as for the evaluation it may play out a bit different more like UI, The devs just made the trailer look more cinematic I guess. This is one of the best tactical shooters out atm. and its very challenging.

Oh you’ve seen nothing. They dimmed down the trailer for it to be friendly but this game goes into some very very dark corners of humanity. They willingly separated themselves from a big contributor to make the game more realistic not in terms of gameplay but in terms of storytelling. There’s some f up shit in this game. @@EazyE11 I played Swat 2-4, and some of the R6 games back in the day. It's a damn shame. I hope that RoN sets an example for other devs and encourages them to create single player focused games.

This game is gonna do a good job showing what first responders/special tactics teams actually go through during their jobs. It's gonna be eye opening and thrilling. Hella excited

As someone who's had supporter for ages, it makes me beyond happy to see this.

I remember following this game before I had a PC. I've been playing for probably 2 years now and it's still one of my favorite games to hop into, even if my friends won't play with me because it's "too hard." That's the fun of it for me. You guys have done a fantastic job with the concept and I'm so excited to see what the future holds for this game. You guys have defined a genre and pushed the envelope for environmental storytelling. I'm getting giddy just thinking about the cinematic gunfights my friends and I will get into, especially if you add in a revive mechanic. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see what's next!

The criticism of the game helped make it the game it is to this day. Do you not remember the closed alpha of this game where it was only PVP? Like I love me some Ready or not but this game was going down a bad route those days and I'm 100% glad they went back to focus on the coop tactical shooter experience over a more tactical R6 siege.

They really aren't. They went a whole year without updates and broke their promises to Supporter Edition buyers while still having the Supporter Edition on sale. That's real scummy since those people paid a lot more to get early access to regular updates and the devs just stopped doing them, not even hotfix updates to Suspect and SWAT A.I. For a literal year this game was not really playable and enjoyable if you played this in Vanilla and didn't get any mods. The SWAT A.I was broken to the point that they kept saying they were working on it but no hotfix came and now we're supposed to believe that in 1.0, all issues will be fixed, but they haven't let the players experience their fixes first-hand for an actual year and now we're supposed to believe them and their capacity to deliver. It's really scummy. It sends a message that they can just ignore their player base and take more money than you and promise stuff and only deliver them like far far ahead into the future.

I remember back in 2020 when I first heard about this SWAT Tactical game that was release for early access on Steam. Wanted to try it out and play it, literally one of the best games I've ever cop. I even bought it the first time with the Supportive Edition. Got so many funny moments with random people playing this game and me and many people went through so many phases watching the game being updated to the point where you could even find glitches and funny bugs. And now that it's finally being release lunch, makes me so happy. A game I always wanted to see finish we finally got it here boys. Void you never once disappointed me, thank you for bringing this nice experience and to hope this games keeps up his spot.

Absolutely incredible. It's short but everything is said, in the most clever way. That shot 😍The transitions are subtle and perfectly executed. I can't even imagine the mess to setup all this. And the attention paid to the smallest details ( this little green ribbon...Chekhov's gun ?) I don't know who said that, Kubrick (maybe) that the genius was ultimately to make complex things extremely clear, simple and natural. Bravo Void and thank you for your amazing work. ❤

122 Hours spent on early access. Loving the game. The devs have improved it so much. One of the best shooters/sims out there. The sound design and immersion is spot on. The game really makes you feel like you are a swat operator making a difference in the city. They were smart to include "psychological" Aspects in the game design. Looking forward to this being fleshed out in 1.0.

A great (and intense) experience, both online and offline. You guys have done a phenomenal job. I hope to play it again soon with all the work that has been done since i last played it back in April.

After all these time It's finally happening I'M SO READYY!!!

The new update feels like a completely different game, in all the best ways, smooth, realistic AI, more chaotic and stressful settings (balcony, trash everywhere, even more corridors) , a Police HQ, flexible commands, immersive conversations and world building, intense yet methodical music (really like it). Im glad to have purchased this game day one.

I dont understand why the devs removed mission types for every level. This is was my favorite thing in RoN: there was so much replayablity on the same maps, because you can difuse the bombs, save hostages, deal with baricaded suspects, etc.. now all of it is gone, we have only 1 mission per level.

That's because it would be kind of strange to have a active shooter in the middle of a farm. Or a bomb diffusal in a gas station

as someone who was following the dev so closely every time they would announce something, I was still stunned with this trailer

Can't believe it. Void you have been incredible its been an amazing ride since early access going back to freshen up my skills for the launch day. this is how early access should be utilized.
