I reverted about a year ago. I was born into a Muslim family but was in disbelief for majority of my life. But once I educated myself about Islam, it was obvious that there’s no choice in Hijab as much as the reformists like to declare. I’m 28 now, and I made a goal to start wearing the Hijab on Sept 1st. It was not about whether I was ready or not-I’m still attached to beauty, fashion, makeup-just that it is an obligation and I wanted to feel closer to Allah by obeying Him. Alhamdullilah, I started wearing it on Sept 1st like I promised myself, and I’m proud of it. I also think, the struggle I’m feeling will lead to reward. This video was at the right time. May Allah make it easy for all of us!

I reverted to Islam a couple of months ago. I really didn't like this video when I first listened to it, I wanted to pretend like what she said wasnt true and wanted to keep denying the facts. However I found myself replaying the video every now and then. Finally I decided to wear it, this was the motivation I needed and subhanAllah I will never take it off! Thinking back now this was one of the easiest things Ive ever had to do.

I reverted a year ago but I hadn't made true change. Subhanallah when Ramadhan came I was struck by the blessings of Allah and my eyes opened. Furthermore after Ramadhan I can feel the Shaytaan back again, trying to tempt me and all kinds of sins. But I put the hijab on during Ramadhan after dressing immodest, my hair being out, etc. It was a compulsion I felt like I had to but I WANTED to. Like I needed to. It is a constant reminder of Allah, in the way you act and think and brings you closer to Allah. I'm now struggling because I feel like I should take it off but I know it is the whispers of Shaytaan and temptations of Dunya. May Allah keep me steadfast and protect me from Shaytaan the accursed

Im a born muslim (16) but I never grew up rly religious up until 3 yrs ago when I found Islam on my own. Alhamdulilah it has brought sm peace in my life and recently I’ve been feeling ready to put on the hijab but I don’t know how to bring it up to my parents in a nice and gentle way that wouldn’t make them immediately deny my opinion since they are kind of against it. Im currently making dua and praying tahajjud but I would appreciate if there was someone also with a similar situation as mine that could give me a little bit of advice :)) I myself am ready but idk how to explain that to my parents that don’t believe it’s obligatory.

Assalamu Alikum Sister. So how are you doing. Keep asking ALLAH (SWT) about it and HE would surely turn ur difficulty into ease. And start talking to ur parents about it. They would oppose it at first or maybe again and again but if u would be consistent about it, then IN SHA ALLAH ALLAH would put goodness in their heart and maybe they would find u serious about this decision. May ALLAH create ease for everyone of us dealing with one difficulty or the other. Aameen. Moreover, even if ur parents would not agree, u have to take this decision by urself and IN SHA ALLAH for urself as it is for the sake of the pleasure of ALLAH(SWT). I know it's not easy at times, take a bit of time, fall, get up again but all i want to say do not give up.

My trust in Him has grown stronger over the years. I've been thinking a lot lately about wearing the hijab. It's something I've been considering for a while, but I was worried about how people would react, like my family, coworkers, and friends at the gym. But then, something clicked yesterday morning, and I decided to finally wear it.🧕❤ I'm hoping for strength and guidance from Allah on this journey. Please keep me in your prayers. And let's pray that all sisters find the right path. Ameen.

My Problem is, I have struggled with my weight in the past to this day. And with all the negative comments and really bad insults about my looks, I'm struggling really hard to be comfortable in my body. I have become so sensitive and sensitive through this past, which I really have hardly self-confidence. My self-confidence was taken away from me as a child in the past and this makes many things in life difficult for me I'm so scared that when I cover up people all stare at me and laugh. I hate it so much and Allah knows best how uncomfortable I feel when someone is looking at me. For example, when I put on a dress, some of my family tell me that I look too fat and huge. I finally want to try to lose weight to get along with my body and then slowly approach the cover but it's so difficult for me. I am also aware that this is no excuse for not covering myself now, but I am afraid of doing something wrong and letting myself be influenced by my low self-esteem and sensitivity. Alhamdulillah, since I started practicing I have been dealing with this topic and I often try to make dua in prayer to make it easier for me and all sisters who struggle with the same Problem .

What helped me الحمد للہ was started wearing hijab to places where no one knew me eg shopping malls were perfect place for doing this experiment, and then a close relatives wedding was absolutely spot on occasion to wear hijab and openly declare the transition.

For the LORD IS DESTROYING the Philistines .. Baldness has come upon Gaza;✍️ Zechariah 9:1-8; “thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I will stretch out MY HAND AGAINST THE Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast. I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes ...Gaza too, and shall writhe in anguish; Have this in your mind, the destruction of Gaza is just a precursor or a curtain raiser to what is awaiting you. ❤️❤️❤️ LOVE GOD & LOVE ONE ANOTHER, THEREBY GOOD WILL COME TO YOU, FOR GOD IS LOVE.❤️❤️❤️ ✍️ If the prophecy against Gaza and the Philistines/ Palestinians are being fulfilled in our days, will not the rest of the prophecy against the Islamic nations also be fulfilled ?

I have a question. I made the intention to wear the hiajab, but my family are very islamophobic (I am a revert), and I fear they will dissown me, so I am very scared to wear it. How should I proceed with this?

Hi dear how are you? I hope all is well and you have taken steps. First pray. A lot a lot. Ask Allah to put the right words and bring up the best time to share this with your family. And pray to Allah to make it easy for your family to accept your truth. Secondly , take your time. Maybe you can make Muslim friends to help you. Inshallah. Maybe you can share with a family member you absolutely trust or non Muslim friend first ?

You can do it ❤, don't think about how may times you took it off. But look forward to put it on again and again. Insha Allah we become closer to Allah and stronger in our faith. I hope to one day wear one too. I don't know what I am waiting for. The fear is real.

I want to wear hijab but my parents are against it, especially my mom, I converted about 9 months ago and I have recently decided to wear hijab but my mom is taking it pretty hard mostly because I'm pretty young I'm 15 and she wants me to be like the other teenager girls and I don't know what to do I'm starting to have doubts and thinking that I shouldn't have reverted because it's really affecting my mom and I want to make her happy, I want to please Allah SWT but that means I have to disobey my parents.

It gets hard before you reap the benefit. Do you know the amazing thing is the harder the struggle you face the higher your reward. Just keep pushing and trust Allah, He never disappoint. When you get tired remember why you started. May Allah strengthen you and keep you upright
