i didn’t vibe with The Spanish Love Deception as much as everyone either for the same exact reasons but i’m looking forward to the author’s future books too!

The review of The Spanish Love Deception was so accurate to my own thoughts. I felt you were reflecting my own thoughts back to me when you were discussing the first few chapters and the work place harassment scene, it felt so forced and like it was being shoved down my throat. I really wanted to like it but I felt as though the author didn’t trust the readers to understand the subtle undertones and was really spelling out how we should be feeling in situations.

Since you liked TAS , I'll recommend Alone With You In the Ether, by Olivie Blake as well. I've read it a couple of days ago and can't stop thinking about it, it immediately became one of my top 5 books this year, and it's super underrated. It gave me Normal People vibes but without all the depression and devastation (at least how I felt reading that lol). There's just so many good quotes to make you stop and think and annotate and even if it weren't as good to you, I'd still love it if I heard your opinion 🤗😌

I have been loving this month and your daily content so much! Sad it's over, but I still look forward to everything you'll be putting out! I've never heard of Finlay Donovan Is Killing It until watching this video, but it definitely seems like a book I'd like! And I'm finally convinced to pick up The Atlas Six!

Yes, i enjoyed atlas six as well. I understand what you mean by not being sure about fantasy but I HIGHLY recommend clean sweep ilona andrews. It's so fun and good, really reminded me why I loved fantasy reads as a child and now adult. strong, intelligent females, lovable imperfect charming characters, fun progressive plot, great male characters, doesn't have problematic ish like misogynistic, racist, homophobic etc. Thank you so much for all ur hard work this year.

my top two (really tie for number one) reads this year are The Wolf and the Woodsman by Ava Reid and Odin's Child by Siri Pettersen

SEVEN DAYS IN JUNE & ATLAS SIX TOP TWO IKTR!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 those were two of my favs of the year and im sooo glad you genuinely enjoyed these!! SDIJ is prob my fav of all time - as a Black woman it was just so relatable for me and held so much joy ❤ I loved the Atlas Six; the writing was just fantastic to me (threesome was a pleasant surprise jdhsjhd 🤣) & i thought it was cool how we loved the same book but loved the opposite characters - i loooveeed Tristan (you love the blondes and i love the dark-haired, (almost pathetically) broody, moody ones) and Parisa (she was so cunning and sexy to me) but i also loved Nico and Gideon and also appreciated just how cunning and manipulative Callum was! loved this video & im so glad you enjoyed the majority of the books you read! towards the start of 2021, it felt like you weren't really enjoying much of what you were reading for videos and this video ended 2021 in the opposite way and i love that for you! Thank you for Chanmas (i enjoyed it so much but pls don't burn yourself out for it next year!!

I just discovered your channel yesterday and read Punk 57 per your recommendation without sleeping last night lol. I saw in one of your videos that you really liked the pen pals trope and I haven’t seen a whole lot of mention of Kleypas’s books in your videos so I am curious if you have read Love in the Afternoon. It has a similar trope and is my all time favorite romance novel. I would love to know your thoughts on it and if possible at some point your thoughts on the entire Hathaway series by Lisa. Thank you for the great recommendation. I enjoyed Punk 57 a lot!

I tried to read They Never Learn but my brain couldn’t understand what was what with it going to different character every chapter. I felt so stupid and it drove me insane! I dnf’ed at chapter 14

"not enough killings for my liking" - chan

I relate to you about the slow burn romances. Although TSLD (and a lot of hyped romances lately) was marketed as romcom, nothing beats Chick Lit..What I like abt romance books are not the perfect, hot, sexy men but natural flow of the romance (does that make sense..?) Anyways, reading They Never Learn atm and so far liking it..😁

I have now added so many books to my TBR, I absolutely love your reviews and you are certainly one of the reasons I got back into reading in 2021. Is "The Atlas Six" being redone? It is coming up as a pre-order for me in Australia.
