Hope you are feeling better soon! LOVING the hair, and your library haul is making me feel better about mine! 😂
Hi Lauren, I really hope you start to feel better soon. I've got Ulcerative Colitis so I know how horrible it is being in pain so much, but it will get better once you figure out what's wrong and get the right medication sorted. I'm sorry you're in so much pain 😓 sending my love! ❤
Commenting before the vlog has even really started but just wanted do say I hope you feel better soon and you get some answers. You have my sympathy - I’ve suffered from on and off tummy issues since I was a teenager and Covid left me with a stomach problem. It can really get to you - I’m so glad we have books to lose ourselves in! ❤
I tell people I’ve read little women, because I’ve tried to read it x4 times and DNF’d it all x4 times. I tell people I’ve read it cause I’m fed up of people trying to convince me to just give it one more try. I understand others love it but I just don’t get into it. There are millions of other books I can spend my time on.
Love your cross stitch gifts, I think I’m going to have a go at it. Thanks for such a fabulous video, so entertaining. Cheers Chris 🦘
I really enjoyed A Year of Living Simply- I think you will too 😊
Hope you get better soon. I’ve been poorly, with bronchitis since the new year and hanging out with you and David in the background is very comforting.
Your hair looks lovely! Really suits you xxx
I feel you about the hair situation! I'm booked in at the start of March and i'm thinking of going red and ditching the bleach for a bit to give my hair a break and also hopefully save a bit of money! Love the library haul!
I hope you feel better soon. Your hair looks amazing 🎉😊
I can't imagine anyone claims to have read a book they haven't anymore. I just don't think reading a particular tome has same cache as it once did. I would say that's a good thing because we are all less pretentious but... I wonder how many people claim to be vegan/zero waste etc but actually aren't (so we haven't stopped claiming things. Just changed what we claim about).
So sorry for all your pain. Hoping you will be able to figure it out and all will be well. Wishing you speedy results. Your amazing ... in pain and still motivated.
I hope you’re doing better soon and get some answers. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Best Wishes 💕
I really like Jupiter from holst's planets suite and serenade for strings in e major by dvorak for more upbeat classical music. Love the outfits in this video btw, hope you're feeling better soon! x
Love your hair, happy birthday to your gran🎉
Hope all turns out well
Love your vlogs Lauren! ❤ Feel well soon!
Loved your video today ❤
Hope all turns out well with the medical tests. ❤
❤
If you’re getting more into classical music I’d highly recommend watching the tv show Mozart in the Jungle! Is a sort of comedy / drama about orchestral musicians in New York - such a good show that I never see anyone talk about! Very charming and fun, is based off of a memoir from a real musician have been meaning to read it for ages!
really recommend the ginger box dye from superdrug (their own brand). It's really really good and bright and is less than a tenner!
Love Babel too.
Just made the coffee and marmalade cake…the one Dave wasn’t too keen on 😂 Lauren when you do your next one can you show how you line your tin/dish..I’m not sure I’m doing it right..great vlog. Hope you are feeling lots better soon. 😊

If you scrunch up the baking paper, it will make it easier to line tins as it will lay flat 😉 you can also dampen it slightly to get it to stick to the tin.

I do scrunch and line, it isn’t perfect but I will aim to show you when I film this week!
My answer to the question is The Great Gatsby for similar reasons, I studied it for A level and couldn’t get on with it so I read the spark notes. Since then I have watched the Leonardo di Caprio film and one of my all time favourites 😂 Could you show us the completed cross stitch that you made for David in the next video? What cross stitch did you do for Jen?
hi Lauren, have you thought of first reading your library books by due back dates? I would think some you might not we able to renew if there is someone waiting for it ... just a thought ... waving to Daphne ... oh, your hair looks splendid ... you can always colour it yourself, I have coloured mine for years ...
Happy Birthday Nan. Lauren- take care of you. What is the name of the cookbook you used for the cake. I think I will like the cake.. If you need to toast nuts it is easy to use a little fry pan, low heat on top of the stove. This method makes it easy to keep an eye on them. I've been known to burn / over toast nuts in the oven.
Just asking - if a library book is overdue, do you get fined ?

Yes, 50p a day.
