Love love love the mix of the vlog: of having the fashion / haul / round the house / books / cooking. It breaks it up so nicely and just makes the whole thing so interesting and a joy to watch!

as a sixteen year old girl who has been adjusting to life with chronic illness (ME/long covid) for the past 2 years, i can't stress enough how important, even life saving, your content has been for me. i feel like i am only just now beginning to recover a sense of self after losing everything i used to love doing, everything that i felt made me who i am. your videos have been so important for me to even just have something to look forward to, so thank you ❤️‍🩹 and not to mention all the good books i've read because of you!! sending all my love and thanks your way 💌 chronic illness is shit, but you've helped make life a bit less shit for me, and that means a lot.

Hey Evie thanks so much for your comment, it means so much to me that I can help others feel less alone. I hope little by little you can get back or even find new parts of you whilst navigating sickness. It is an ongoing journey but you’ll get there ❤️‍🩹🫶🏻

ME is so hard. Our brains try so hard to grasp, and fix it, but we are at its mercy so often.

I felt this so deep in my bones and my heart. You articulate sm of exactly how it feels to be debilitated. I'm in the trying to be positive and rly enjoy the moments where I can do things phase rn, but that is such an effort and choice to make and you're absolutely right, we don't need to be sick in order to be grateful. It's hard to find those windows and pockets to keep going and the ebb and flow of either being in a full on crash/anger/frustration stage vs an "ok this is how my reality is rn how can I find a window of good" is such a constant and soooo draining. Last week I was angry and this week I feel a bit brighter bc I did get out. Sending you some of that warmth and positivity, in the hope that this week is a brighter one for you ❤

I originally followed you for your book content and as someone with Endo, I thought it would be nice to relate to someone. Just started watching this as someone also with CFS/M.E and did not know until you said you also deal with this condition daily, your symptoms were striking such a chord and your inner feelings/frustrations. The value in your words and openness really made me stop berating myself. It is so easy to be unkind to ourselves. xx

the way you said “my favourite thing: a mooch!” i was like omg ilysm. also, i really loved TOXIC POSITIVITY by whitney goodman who debunks and addresses all the “everything happens for a reason” rubbish. i particularly enjoyed the way she talked about privilege within this live laugh love nonsense.

Love an everything vlog! Also excited to hear you talk about Shiny Happy People - I've watched the first episode so far but can't wait to get stuck into the rest. I was sooooo fascinated by 19 Kids and Counting. One of the other daughters has also released a book talking about her experiences within the cult and her family, not sure if its just available in the States but I've seen a couple of interview clips of her talking about it!

couldn't agree with you more about the need for content warnings in books. just started reading 'something wild and wonderful,' a romance by anita kelly, and the author warned of use of homophobic language before the start of the text. it's just so easy? i don't see why this is something needing debating.

When you spoke of this vicious cycle of anxiety and stressing about not having control over your body really resonated with me. After having a steady dietary exclusion of certain foods I was finally diagnosed with IBS. It was a relief knowing that it is not in my head and that now I know when something is wrong with my body's reaction to certain foods and where it comes from. But sometimes it is annoying to say the least because one day you eat something and you are fine and the next day that same food makes you sick.

thanks for sharing, 💗 your intro clip made me think of a crip theory i read recently, iť s a newish book and called Crip Negativity (by J. Logan Smilges). you pretty much summed it up but the motto of the book is “bad crip feelings being felt cripply”. it really helped me to validate my feelings and find myself in the disability justice discourse. thought you might like it
