I wasn’t gone on The Nightingale but I loved The Great Alone.
I am so glad you finally read it. I agree with everything you said. I have been telling everyone that this should be required reading at the high school level for may reasons. From the time it came out, I tell anyone who asks me what I should read, this is always the first book I recommend, 100% of the time. I am a book club moderator/coordinator so it is loved by all of us who have chosen it. I am so happy to hear how it changed you. I believe it changes anyone who is open to it. Love your content as always!
The nightingale is one of my favorites for sure. I love it.
I completely agree about little life! I actually soft dnf it because it was just dragging out and I understand the point of the book was to just love who the characters were and their lives and I’m so upset because I wanted to love it and have it destroy me as much as everyone else but I just can’t lie about my feelings towards the book 😭!
I like your spoiler free reading vlogs! Items I’m interested in that are not spoilers are chapter lengths, is it multiple POVs and/or timelines and your initial reaction
I am currently reading my longest book on my TBR War and Peace, my copy is 1357 pages, I am only 187 pages in but I am liking it so far. Last year I read IT by Stephen King, my copy was just over 1000 pages I didn't like IT at all but at least it is now off my TBR.
And by the way…the Great Alone is worth every page. I finished that in March. Excellent.
I very much prefer spoiler free reading vlogs. That being said, I don't mind hearing details from the first couple chapters because it's not necessarily spoiling the entire book. And the first couple chapters tend to be in the blurbs anyway. Just a thought on how you could vlog about the books but still keeping them spoiler free like you like.
When I finished reading The Nightingale, I had to take a shower and just stand there and cry. It was so emotional in a way that I can't even put into words. If you haven't read The Women, by Kristin Hannah, you need to soon!

Hey bestie didnt know you were on youtube... Time to binge ❤❤
I just finished A Court Of Mist And Fury, I am starting A Court Of Wings And Ruin which is 699 pages. We’ll see how long it takes me to read it.
Oh I just found your channel and I love your vibes and editing 🥹

Thank you so much ❤️❤️
I’m totally with you on that. I’m good with about 350 pages. Any more than that and I’m afraid I’ll start to lose interest.
Have you read the Knockem out series by Lucy Score ? I think those 3 are really long .
