I'm in the same position as you, I've suddenly turned into a romance reader (not that it's a bad thing). I think it all started with The Hating Game, which I read in December of last year, and since then I've just been craving to read romance. I would definitely recommend Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover. It is her most recent book and I've fallen head over heels for the story and the characters, my favourite book of 2022 so far.

omg I never noticed that trope about one of the characters losing a parent, but that's sooo true

red hair + green anything = perfection!!

I just wanna say thank you for adding time stamps on times you say spoilers so we have an option to skip it since not a lot of booktubers do it and it’s frustrating how others just tell the entirety of the story during their reading vlogs without any spoiler warning. So really appreciated thank you! 🤍

it’s a salt lamp from urban outfitters but you can get them anywhere really! it’s such a warm light, really sets the vibe! and my one that changes colour is actually an essential oil diffuser my mum gave me x

I am so happy that you liked my recommendation 😊 I really love the authors art style but I also understand your critique. It can be really hard to find stories where the characters are just queer and isn’t all about coming out etc. The authors other series the witch boy goes more into that direction, if you’re interested in reading more from them. It is about defying gender norms without actually heavily discussing being trans/non-binary. The character doesn’t put labels on themselves and it is definitely more subtle

workers are underpaid, jeff bezos is a billionaire and i don’t think billionaires should even exist, supporting smaller/independent businesses is better (personal opinion) but obviously not everyone can afford to not use amazon as it does things cheaper

I also dislike when books get so obsessed about how big and tall a man is, it always makes me laugh. I imagine this gigantic man and this girl who constantly has neck pain from looking in his eyes.
