Mystic Mine is as balanced as a seesaw with a child at one end, and TeamSam's ego at the other end. Child is getting sent to orbit, probably passing the Despair Uranus as it leaves the cosmos.

My point though was that people would use Mystic Mine as a 1-time tech card if it's limited, until the recent "millennium" tin (which contains it) will age long enough for the fate of Mystic Mine to be decided. Edit: I agree that a field spell like Mystic Mine should not be a deck, but a side card.

Chris Hill If your opponent makes a 4-5 monster board (which combo decks do) and you activate Mystic Mine, you are not affected by Mystic Mine and can out your opponent’s board while setting up your own pretty freely.

Setting Penguin Soldier during the opponent's turn is the next meta

Sheepsoft ngl Krawler was my first deck. When I got into Yugioh I looked up cheap good decks and it popped up lol. I actually beat altergeist at full power by otk using 2 synaphis and a missus radiant and ultimate offering might help the deck as the deck actually kindve combos off (as much as Krawler can) on turn 3.

Yata's one of those cards where if it was off the list, exactly one of two things would happen: absolutely nothing, or a new and more degenerate yata-lock. The card is *not good in modern yugioh*, to be clear, it's just also bad design so it *could* break something or be broken by something at any point.

@Matthew Schout People found combos with Cyber Stein and Morphing Jar too. Now everyone has forgotten them. Btw. if you handloop your opponent you already won. No one card can break a board AND prevent them from making a new board next turn.

Yata would literally do almost nothing in our current game's state, even the old yata lock doesn't work anymore due to errata's to the main components of it. Above all this, Yata conceptually isn't even that big of a threat on the level that most decks work out of the grave with effect's now, hand traps exist and are staple main deck card's, and if you hit the point where you've somehow looped your opponents hand, you're probably left with a board that you wouldn't wish to have opened with or drawn a monster that cannot be special summoned and that requires a normal summon to actually use. If by some miracle you reach a point where you win with/lose against Yata, you probably would have won/lost not only faster without it having taken a slot in your deck more deserving of a better modern card that is going to be more cohesive with your current deck.
