I just finished this book and quite honestly it was no where near long enough for me. I never wanted it to end! 😩 major book crush on Knox ❤

It’s like you’ve read my mind! I’m trying to read it now and I’m 70% of the way through and struggling to see how people are rating it 5 stars! Its just a lot of nothing happening in one chapter and then a cheesy cringe sex scene in the next. Almost dnf’d it but decided to stick it out and I can’t wait to finish it so I can start a better book!

What?! I absolutely LOVED this book! I never wanted it to end! It was by far my favorite book that I read this summer. Currently reading the 2nd one! … I do agree Waylay seemed to be the only one actually functional, but I guess that’s part of why I enjoyed it so much! She was my favorite character😂

I just finished this book last week and I loved it! 😂😂 I do agree that it could’ve been shorter, but I really enjoyed this one.

I totally agree with your review. I did not like Knox! And I thought Naomi, as strong as she was went for some of his aggressive affections, especially when he threw her over his shoulder in the bar in front of all those people. WHAT! This book was way too long for the story. It could have literally been two hundred less pages. I’m giving it two ⭐️ and that’s being generous.

we have the exact same reactions reading thing this book, ESPECIALLY the spicy scenes 😭i could not!!!

I literally read like 1/4 of this book, put it down for 2 months because I also wasn’t fully feeling it, then came back to it and loved it! It’s weird how sometimes you just need to be in a certain mood for certain books. I think I probably shouldn’t have tried it the first time around, because I was coming off of a mafia romance kick 🙈

I'm 60% through it now and strugglingggg it's SO SLOW!! I just keep wondering when something is going to happen 😭 anyways I decided to watch a reading Vlog to see if I'm alone in my thoughts and feel very validated now! Just have to decide if I actually want to finish it or not.

omg.. I felt the exact same way about this book. way too long for the plot and it was almost instalove even though Knox was a grumpy a$$ from page 2. baby is also such a big cringe word for me so it was just an ick on top of the way i felt about Knox 😭 i feel like i read a different book to the book everyone else read.

I couldn’t agree more!!! Totally not what I expected with this book and it just… wasn’t for me lol

I saw this book really hyped up and being good and all and i literally reas the first page or so the coffee shop scene and after reading that i was like no not reading this lol

I had the same feelings you had while reading the first half or this book. The, getting together felt rush and slow burn all at the same time lol and I didn’t like that Knox was so back and forth on his feelings. I haven’t finished yet but I can tell this will be a 3-3.5 stars for me.

Not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s ok☺️. I personally liked it. It was cringey🫣 in some areas but I get the story line. And she’s coming out with another book which will be part of the knockem out storyline(already preordered in Amazon). I feel similarities in this book to the twisted series from Ana Huang. So I’m wondering if Lucy Score is gonna start going in depth with another character. Sorry the book didn’t work out for you girl. I do however appreciate an honest review. it’s hard to read a book let alone a 550page one if it’s not enjoyable.

I’ve never seen these types of videos so idk why I expected to see you sit and read a couple of chapters out loud LOL but I loved it! I don’t think I’ll read this one just because it does sound a little cringe & too long but I’m excited for more videos like these! 🥰

he was so angry and aggressive all the time 😭 and the amount of cursing thrown into every single one of his lines was insane lol

Omg! I also HATE when guys say "baby" especially in sex scenes omg

I had the same issues with Knox- way too grumpy and crass. Lucy Score lost me when he uri acted off his deck…. And Naomi was annoying.

I thought you sprinkled hot cheetos dust on your toast lol

this book really didn’t do it for me either! i was so disappointed considering the amount of five star reviews i saw 🥲 i thought the ending was ridiculous too ahh the only redeeming factor was stef 🫶🏼
