Witcher 3 story isn't part of the novel, it's after it. Not to mention the base game story and plot is pretty simple but good nonetheless. I'd still say that Rdr2 takes story even after having played both

Another thing too is that Witcher 3 combat situations almost never feel forced n r extremely immersive in the world while rdr2 will have u in a 2 vs 60 shootout n come out fine after catching 40 bodies it kinda was immersive breaking for me while all my encounters in the Witcher 3 felt so natural for the world it was in n whatever story I was in at the time

With dlcs like "Hearts of stone" and "Blood and Wine". Witcher 3 just surpassed RDR2 with quite a large margin.

It's almost correct, but I've played both the games more than twice, Witcher 3 thrice. And I would say that Witcher 3's story is better than rdr2 by a mile. Rdr2 still has the 2nd best story tho

rdr 2 is overhyped man , played only for one reason arthur , story good but not that good , missions were boring and repetitive , other side characters had no depth , witcher 3 does it all and better because of it's mission and story and soundtrack and a dense world

Only game which beats RDR 2 easily, it is WITCHER 3. No amount of video comparison can change it. And I am sad because of that. It's a depressing feeling that I'll probably never will find a game as good as Witcher3 let alone better. Playing games since 1995 and no other game could make feel this way, not even close.

Hmm... it's Overrated, yes, in terms of being too deified, since it's just a common game, like any other. It's not perfect, it's not the best, but it's not bad either, and far from worse. Game 10/10 for sure, but that's not all the fandom says. I hate the Rdr fandom because they almost want to force people to say that Red Dead is the best game ever made, and that doesn't exist. And another thing: Although Tw3 is not as realistic as Red Dead, after all, if it were it would be very bad, but it is from 2015 and already had real time (the days actually passed), people had routines, the buildings were really built and many other things.

how does rdr 2 missions with virtually same unlimited enemies coming from all directions , chasing on horse and you kill them eating jolly jacks tobacco for slow mo defeats witcher 3 gameplay ? atleast witcher 3 has vast varieties in missions , even the weakest of side quests have meaning , while rdr2 has very limited side quests and most of them are boring af

Yes. The Witcher 3 has better gameplay than a game where you just shoot, shoot, shoot, eat, shoot, shoot... and shoot... it's very boring. "But in The Witcher you just gut everyone all the time" you might say, and it's true, but the combat isn't forced like in Red Dead 2 where you shoot all the time in the game.
