I think Shaos last "gomu gomu no" when he cut off is supposed to Amp you hearing the luffy sample that follows directly after but it's too quiet in the nix so it's not entirely clear to hear

Luffy often calls out "Gomu Gomu no" with a pause as he continues stretching, which builds potential energy (and dramatic effect), before calling out the attack name (in this case, "Free D. om"). This habit was also translated into the One Piece Live Action by Luffy's actor. Last note, the final verse ends with "Sha D. ow", which rhymes with "Gomu Gomu no." They stretched out the length between the rhyme, but that's pretty poetic in this case.

You can hear Luffy screaming “PISTOOOOL” in the background, so it was meant to be Gomu Gomu no Pistol

TheManBeHisLa literally used the same exact verse from his Shanks rap, I know cause I have it on repeat, freaking love that song.

Shwab always has some of the best verses in every cypher he is on, it just doesn't feel like a cypher without the Shwab energy.

shao's gomu gomu no might be a reference to luffy unable to decide what to name his attack or maybe getting knocked out also was hoping for Saul D Jaguar verse atleast given we know very little about Xebec or Portgas D Rouge

rouge would have like 3 lines and pretty much majority of listeners even some self aclaimed hardcore one piece fans would be like "who the hell is this" and other two dont have that much to say about themselves either. argument could also be made that they are all dead or considered dead but then why does ace have the verse. its probably just lack of content and keeping it short

I know that xebec and rouge have very little info. plus if you are reading the manga then spoiler alert Saul is still alive and I think he is in Elbaf. also we get a flashback of god valley incident which while doesn't mention or shows xebec much was amazing to learn about. poor kuma 😭

i am caught up with manga and although that is very strongly implied it is still not 100% proven (only at the stage of dead obvious atm) that being said i agree saul out of the three has most details to rap about, maybe he chose not to add him to avoid said spoilers or maybe it would not go with the vibe as most content we have on saul is dereshishishi and very sad emotional scenes and context. so maybe verse about saul would bring down the hype. p.s. rogue could have a good flex bar about being rogers choice and maybe compare herself to one piece (that would be a wild bar :D )@@kanishkpincha3965

not at all. you are mistaking player knowledge and character knowledge. "Emanon" was Tekkings aka players initial idea because he did not have backstory fully established and polished out. It is name he used early on as character because he was never told his last name. To him and boss he was orphan and Emanon is fitting last name. But that is player knowledge. Ingame character knowledge Boss always knew his last name cause his attack on william's family was targeted but that was established later on. If you said willian didnt know his family name i would agree with you, but cannonically boss knew exactly who williams family was as well as the fact that wiliam had/has will of D.@@lordfreezer5631

I think it was supposed to be Shao saying "I bang libiration drums" and then saying "Gomu Gomu No" before the drum breakdown on the beat was supposed to be the tye whole thing, i dont think he was trying to rhyme anything there. Probably the best cypher of the year so far (i was hoping to get a verse from the legend Con D. Oriano tho)

I think the way ShaoDow pronounced 'Shao D. Ow' is supposed to be a reference to Shadow Dio from JBA

I think that in Shao Dow's verse, 'all you hear is gomu gomu no' is ended with a laugh (Ha Ha), which I think is to rhyme with Nika (sounds ridiculous I know) but there you go.
