He once said he studied violin at conservatory but switched to piano as he started his professional career - his beer and tip glass kept sliding off the violin. Loved the video and the reaction!
Borge is a comedy legend. But also a good pianist. Not that many recordings of him playing seriously, but...

It's been a long time since I've heard Victor Borge (bor-guh). He's Danish. Always good for a musical laugh.
I had the pleasure of seeing him in person twice. So glad he happened during my lifetime.
I love Borge. His delivery and pianism (*(is that a word!?).. Is perfect. I love being a European.!😂❤️ he reminds me so much of Liberace' ❤❤
And check out the works of PDQ Bach, the youngest and oddest of Johann Sebastian's 20-odd children. :-)
