The song had gone viral long before the final so it was really hyped up. Her song has received over 50 million plays on TikTok in just four weeks. In addition to the fact that she is the most streamed finalist in the whole of Europe on Spotify. She won both the jury votes and the televote. This year the votimg changed to same as in Eurovision. First jury votes, professional music people from 10 countries (UK, France, Ukraine, Spain, Azerbaijan, Finland, Czech Rep, Iceland, The Netherlands and Sweden voted) then televote.. 50/50. We use to have only televote in MGP. Another difference was that we could only vote 1 time so if we liked several song we had to chose only one…thats why I think the televotes mostly went to the two favorites. Could we have voted 3 times or several times as in Eurovision the televotes would have been spread more.

There's no denying it's the complete package. People might think this isn't a "jury song" but I think the vocal quality, timbre, and vocal skill in this song, the absolute show of a performance it is, and her charisma and energy has to be appreciated by the jury.
Norway’s selection final may actually be better than actual Eurovision finalists qualified to date. Worth checking out Denmark’s non-qualifiers. The quality at MGP was so high this year.
