The more I listen to this song, the more interesting it seems to me and I like it more and more, I think this is not typical of other songs. Apart from the strange song mix style, there is another interesting side to this song, the interpretation of the lyrics. First, this play on words: Phenomen-phenomen-phenomenal Phenomenal - phenomenal Feminine- feminine- feminine. The Unicorn should be seen as a symbol, it has several meanings and things to say. For me she is number one. A completely unique musical style, from a professional point of view, the different musical styles were perfectly bridged with the bridges, the musical lyrics have at least 3 types of messages (business, feminist, historical and present of Israel). It is a brilliant work both musically and lyrically. Noa Kirel's beauty, her performance, her dancing are even more of a bonus to this performance. The only thing that can cause a disadvantage in scoring is politics. Congratulations and good luck Israel!

I think the music video is her being unapologetically her most authentic self and if it doesn’t sit well with anyone- she does not care. And to show that, there’s the dissonance bw the reality and how she is expected to behave according to social norms (she’s on what appears to be a fairly boring date) and her doing her thing being her most authentic self.. also, her date looks kind of embarrassed and there are some awkward looks bw the other diners and it seems to bother him. She was literally on the ceiling, had an orchestra and all that and by the end she casually comes down to finish her meal. as an Israeli I truly feel like it represents me and my country and some of the struggles we face. not to mention the song is bomb, the music video is fire and noa kirel is a literal queen.

(This is my take as an Israeli, but as it is a work of art, it is open to different interpretations, so yours is valid as well! :)) Here are the main points to understand: The song is about the relations of Israel (The "I" in the song) and those who perceive her wrongfully as their enemy (The "You"). To all her neighboring countries, Israel stated time and time again "we are not your enemy!" (In the song "No, I'm not your enemy") Also, the fact that the Jewish ppl are originated from ancient Israel ("Do you want to check my DNA?"), and not a colonial foreign power, as falsely accused by it's enemies. As you may know, There is a vicious cycle of violence going on in our region for more than a century that we must break and change ("History caught in a loop, Don't you wanna change it?"), cause Israel is attacked time and time again ("If you're gonna do it, don't do it", ) and is forced to respond. The music also contains elements of the Israeli national anthem - called "Hatikva" - The hope. One of the symbols of Unicorns is Hope and Success, and also strong healing powers. Israelis offered the palestinians their own country multiple times even after they kept refusing. They always refused cause they want all of it and no jews allowed. Never gonna happen. Jews are from the land of judea and samaria and the kingdom of Israel. Judaism is way older than islam and native to the levant.
