This song is interesting because it talks about a woman who is being betrayed by her lover and she sees all the warning signs. She knows he is a mistake, but she just can't help herself. He's the only person she's ever loved. She's hurt by him but she's all happy in a sense for her favorite mistake. Just to see him and have some form in her life is the perfect ending to the bad day, she's just beginning.
This is relatable to me. Being with a narcissist is highly addicting. Your heart becomes addicted to the feeling they give you, that even a bad interaction gives you some form of satisfaction because they're still in your life.
