As soon as she sung, I knew she was the eventual winner. NO other voice could compete with such a powerhouse.

Karise is phenomenal! She was the winner from the very first moment she started singing and everybody damned knew it! ❤ Her voice is so unique and powerhouse, Karise’s foster parents are the level that all other foster parents should be held to… their physical and mental support and unequivocal love for their charge (Karise) is unbelievable. ❤ I always love watching Karise’s first audition… especially watching Seal’s face….

Karise Eden took out the season 1 The voice winner. She now a singer and songwriter on Australia Aria chart. 🇦🇺

EVERY time I hear this audition (and it has been plenty!) - BLOWS ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

She won The Voice in 2012.. She still out there gigging and writing.

Karise won that season of the voice and has a huge following I have tickets to see her perform in August

Favourite blind audition of all time! After Karise won the Voice that season, had the chance to see her perform in a mall in Brisbane, stood two metres away from the stage and you should hear her in the flesh, unbelievable. She seemed very humble and grateful for this win to push her further into music.

Karise is still writing and touring in Australia. She has such a unique voice and having seen her perform many times, she just gets better and better. I remember seeing this performance and being as stunned as the judges. Just incredible.

Miss Karise is a vocal Legend

She does frequent shows at places like The Basement in Melbourne. Saw her a few months ago in fact. She's very down to earth, lives on a farm with hubby and kids and horses. She's got a new album coming out this year, produced by another famous aussie. The other kid her had big voice was Vanessa, " Absolutely Everybody"

Karise is brilliant and even better on stage. Saw her once do a backyard concert too...that was memorable. Yep a great singer....glad you have reviewed her!

Welcome to the Karise Eden wormhole... She has written so many brilliant songs. I highly recommend "Maybe you can Love Me Anyway" and "Hopeless" (both live performances from the same gig)

I so loved Karise Edens' version of this song; her voice reminded me so much of Janice Joplin. I still have this version on my song list and listen to it often.

Karise gigged in Tasmania last week. Still going strong.

Karise Eden followed up her victory on The Voice Australia with her first album, My Journey. She became the first artist or group to hold four of the top fwe spots at the same time on the Australian record charts since The Beatles held all six of the top six in 1964. My Journey went double platinum.

That performance on 'The Voice' was actually 12 years ago. She has released 4 albums in that time, has had ups and downs with her mental health and has a had a child as well.....but continues to perform to this day. I just wish her happiness.

Been trying for years to get big reactors to check her out. Her tone is unreal. She did a live show called Daily Edition and sang I'd Rather Go Blind. You HAVE to hear that.

Remember watching this on Television when it was originally broadcast. Obviously I have seen the you tube clip numerous times. Wins the Voice that year, but subsequent years had some problems, but believe she is back singing.

Karíse won the Voice Australia in 2012, over 12 years ago now. She is 31 now, still writes music and is married with a couple of children. She needs to bring out a banger tó make it big as she has the talent

I felt so bad for the rest of the contestants that year. Everyone knew as soon as she opened her mouth she would win.

I watched her whole journey and hoped she would win, despite her being an unusual type of recording star and was so happy when she did! What an extraordinary soul! 💕🙆

If you curious to see how she looks and sounds now, I recommend you both to watch Karise Eden in a recent cover of “Easy on Me”, (Adele’s song). There are several other young Australian singers who all have a solo part. One is Chris Sebastian who was another contestant in that first series of “The Voice”. His older brother Guy is one of the judges. Another is Reece Mastin who won “The X Factor” a few years ago. I think you’ll like how she’s progressed since her win on “The Voice”.

Her version of Stay With Me Baby is brilliant (the Voice Australia).

She is doing awesome--has her own place and kids..her career is doing well. She has a FB page as well.

That was 20 years ago. I follow her on FB and it's wonderful seeing how she's been finding her way through many challenges. My fave of her is a video on KZread called, "You Won't Let Me" Shows the gentle side of her phenomenal voice. Still one of my all time fave auditions. 🌈

Karise was doing so well. Then with it looking like she will be the winner her narcissistic mother , who never wanted anything to do with her, suddenly decided that she needed to be back in her life. Mum could smell the dollar signs of course. I know Karise released an album , which I purchased. I'm not sure what happened after that though . BTW , this production of the Voice is from 2012 - and Karis did win .

Karise did win that season but she did struggle with all the attention, she was very shy and withdrawn and still sings today.

I think she made the wrong decision, she needed someone like delta to manage her she had some troubles during and after this , but she is doing great now 😘

I,ve see her sing "Simply the best" (on KZread) BETTER than Tina Turner! just with a guitar on stage! She is one in +4 generations of singers.
